I have been really interested in F# recently and have been reading a lot of books and articles. So far, by far the best book I've come across is
"F# For Scientists." I am not a scientist myself but this book has a great treatment of the core concepts of functional programming and algorithms, which I am finding is changing the way I think about programs.
I'd really like to talk with others about this stuff and think I'd get a better understanding. Is anyone else interested? I will carry this book with me at all times for the next several months I am sure, so if you want to take a look at the book I'll be at the next #altnetseattle meeting.
If anyone else is interested, please reply and we can see about where/when/etc.
