Hello.

Would anyone else on this list like to be an altnetseattle admin? In
addition to feeling superior to other beings, you will be able to
participate in moderating messages from new users.

Currently I'm working in Singapore, so sometimes there's a long lag
between a new message being posted and distributed (sorry: Justin R.,
Ted & others).

I am sure I am not worthy of the honor, but I would be happy to share
the load. I didn't even realize we are moderated...

Do we really need moderation? is the spam that bad?

I don't know about this list, but I get 1-2 spams per day on another list I moderate.

Only posts from members that have never posted before are moderated.
We had a fair amount of spam in the early days (which is why it is
moderated now), but I haven't seen any in a while.

Willing to if nobody else is, but I'm just as much on the road as anybody,
so I'd prefer not to be the lone bottleneck and just re-create the same
situation we have now. :-)

That's a good idea Ted. Why don't we continute the classic ALT.NET spirit and have multiple admins, that way we can scale the adminning effort :-)

I am willing to be an admin too.
Thanks,
Pradeep
