Microsoft IL Blogs dead, who can help?

Hey,
I'm not sure who to turn to and I thought maybe one of you would know. The blogs.microsoft.co.il domain is down for a while now and my blog with it. Indeed I haven't written in it for a while, but it doesn't mean I'd like to lose all the content/comments. I'm ashamed to admit I don't have a backup of most of the posts there.

Do you know who can I contact about this? For the very least I'd like to be able to export all my content.

It used to be yosi taguri but I have no idea who it was in microsoft after that.. Maybe Yosi knows..

I would just add that every content there is probably not relevant anymore...outdated and related to the old century 

Everyone moved to alt.nodejs :-)

אני חושב שמן ההגינות היה להודיע לכל הבלוגרים באתר שהאתר הולך למות ולתת להם אפשרות לגבות את החומר שלהם (אם הם רוצים) ולא לעשות את זה בהפתעה.

הי אבי,

 

אני לא בטוח שזה בדיוק מה שאמרתי אבל פרט לחלק הראשון ("אין מצב שיורידו את האתר") ההמשך מדוייק ונכון. בטח נכון לחומר של פאבל וסשה שכתבו ספרים (בהוצאת מיקרוסופט) שהאתר משלים אותם.

ויש גם המון היסטוריה של הקהילות וידע טכני שנרכש בדם, שחלקו הגדול עדיין רלוונטי.

 

אני לא יודע מי הכתובת במיקרוסופט

המנכ"לית שלי לנדסמן עוזבת בקרוב, ואם למישהו יש קשר ישיר אליה, כדאי שיפנה את תשומת ליבה לבעיה.

כמו כן כל מי שהוא MVP ויש לו קשר לאירופה ולארה"ב יכול לנסות לבקש עזרה.

 

במינימום צריך לבדוק אם יש אפשרות להעלות את האתר מחדש ולו רק במוד של Read Only, כדי לאפשר למי שצריך לפחות לגבות חומר.

 

העותק של Archive.org לא עוזר הרבה למי שכתב בעברית וה URL שלו מכיל עברית (ניסיתי), אם מישהו יודע איך לפתור את זה אשמח לקבל Tip.

While you meddle, I suggest you move the content to where you can keep ownership of it (i.e. not medium or facebook or anything ridiculous as such). Github pages works for me, find something that works for you. Even better if you set things up under your personal domain name, which would make future portability easier.

It's probably following my correspondence with some execs from Redmond.
I haven't heard anything yet about what they plan to do with it though. Will update once I have more information. I will also ask regarding Export options.

מי שלא התכונן לזה שזה יקרה פעם שניה אכל אותה לדעתי. מיקרוסופט כבר הוכיחו שזה לא בראש מעייניהם ונתנו לנו רמז עבה מאוד.
