Alt.net Scotland has been born!

Over the past few months some of you will be aware of the Glasgow
Alt.net group has been actively meeting and talking all things code.

As of last night the Glasgow Alt.net group is no more. Sad news you
may think, but read on!

We are proud to announce the birth of Alt.net Scotland. We have had a
preliminary meeting last night in regards to where we want to go, and
how we want to get there.

There were lots of great ideas, and three FANTASTIC ones - one of
which is our first choice of project.

You can now find us at out new home in Google groups at the following

Our projects will live at: http://code.google.com/p/scotaltdotnet/ and
we I have setup full Google apps domain for document collaboration and
calendars.

For anyone wishing to join in the fun, please send an email to
davetheninja _@_ scotalt.net and I will be happy to set you up your
accounts.

For those in Edinburgh, a reminder that we will be through on the 3rd
of November to reveal the full details of projects and hopefully you
will be as excited about this as we are!
