What's the purpose of these meetups? Are you and guys just gonna swap
contracting details? Oh, and if anyone tries to convince me that
closure is what all the cool kids are doing then I'm out (I get enough
of that here).
With that said, if the emphasis is more on the beer side of things
than the Alt.Net then I'm in and @James you should ask Tobin, he's
always up for geek beers.
What I hope to get out of this is to be marginally more sociable.
Nothing crazy, just a little bit more. If nothing else, it'll prompt
me to lose the "lost at sea" beard once in a while.
I'll prod Tobes, but he's always in meetings nowadays. Is he even a
developer any more? ;D
Like James, I'm in it to be a bit more sociable. I'd like to know a
few more people from the pool of Leeds people who take an active
interest in craftsmanship. And if I only get into a pub and make fart
jokes, laugh like a drain and never, ever discuss CQRS, then fine.

Noted.

Not just, but I'd be lying if I said that wasn't at least a part of
it, yeah.

It is right now, yes. Usually when I go drinking with .NETters, the
evening ends up with a little bit of tech talk and a couple of hours
of absolute bollocks being talked. Me, I'm mostly in it for the
bollocks. And the tech. Heck, I don't know.
Ok, I'm in, just let me know when/where.
Chris.
