MORE OF YOUR SAY ON “THE THAKSIN CARD”
“A Well-written article. Until now, I still cannot figure out what
the catch is. However, the last paragraph of your article seems to
summarize what's going to end up. Hun Sen may be in the short end of
the deal, for Thaksin is, like the yuon, is a descendant of the
taais. It could also be a case of personal vendetta. When have we
heard of Hun Sen doing a positive deed to the Khmer country?
Everything is about staying afloat with all limbs cling steadfastly on
power and fortune. We shouldn't have forgotten about who wanted to
send Thai commandos to come to crush Kampuchea following the riot that
was intended to destroy Thai business. Then, there's was Thai carrier
waiting in the Gulf of Siam for order to attack the Khmers. Is it not
short memory on our part, or it's all about political sideshow.”
