YOUR SAY ON “BUSINESS SIDE OF HUN SEN STABILITY”


“Cambodia under Hun Sen control does not have political stability but
in fact his regime is destroying peace and destroying political unity
in Cambodia. With support and occupation by Hanoi regime, the Cambodia
People Party or Cambodia Communist Party, currently does not only
discredit the Paris Peace Agreement October 23, 1991 but they also
promote January 7, 1979 that most of Cambodian nationalists consider
as the day of Youn invasion of Cambodia.

The key foundation of political stability is peace, justice, and
freedom. But in Cambodia, Hun Sen increases number of his personal
bodyguards and strengthens them in order to threaten social political
activists. He threatens UN-Backed unit and foreign officers at Khmer
Rouge court because of the proposal to investigate six more of Ex-
Khmer Rouges.

The political stability could not happen, unless the prime minister
disbands his private bodyguard unit, which is an illegal armed forces;
it was established without an approval of the National Assembly and
Ministry of Interior. The "H.S" armed forces can be considered as a
terrorist group that threatens not only political stability in
Cambodia but also the security in region.”

“The good thing about this chaos at the changeover is the opportunity
for some new leader to clear the deck for a fresh start, sharing the
loot and wealth around. Cambodia still has plenty of wealth for a few
more rounds of redistribution, or looting, before joining its long
lost relatives in Champa. They are just practicing detachment in the
crudest form.”
