Greetings from EveryChild India!
Last year we marked the 10th Anniversary of EveryChild. For the last ten years, we have been on a journey to facilitate meaningful and lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable children living at risk or without parental care across the world. At EveryChild India, while focusing on the most marginalised dalit children in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, we are constantly striving to find newer and meaningful ways to share our work and reach out more to our partners, friends and most importantly children. Amidst this, EveryChild India's first Newsletter is an attempt to communicate more effectively with you all and open avenues to share and communicate important issues of vulnerable children.
We shall be sending this newsletter on a monthly basis to all of you and invite your responses, feedback and suggestions to help us improve and learn from each other.
Do write to us or call us, we look forward to hearing from you soon. Enjoy reading!
Best regards,
Payal Saksena

Dear Payal,
Congrats to you and the team. A very good initiative. Do keep it up.
Need to look at ten steps to increase the number of sponsorship support. Let us look at regional consultations. Am game for one in Koppal in mid March.

My heartiest congratulation for the Newsletter and really an interesting
document to read. After going through the newsletter I have following
request to you:
* Would like to receive the report of the district level Consultation
on issues of children working in textile industries being organized on 17
February 2012 at Salem, Tamil Nadu. As here in New Delhi we have also taken
an initiative to protect the rights of children employed in garment
industry.
* Would also like to receive the full report of Research on
Accessibility and Impact of Sponsorship as this is one are under ICPS that
we are pushing with Department of Women and Child Development, Govt. of
National Capital Territory Delhi. The study will help in building the case
of feasibility of the sponsorship scheme as concerned officials as skeptical
on the feasibility aspect.
Warm regards:
