Watch Free Media, Free Minds! tonight at 9pm on Cape Town TV. We look at the roots of alternative media in South Africa with Mansoor Jaffer (former coordinator of Grassroots) and Andre Marais (Amandla magazine).

The show includes a exerts of Saamstaan Again - a documentary about a small newspaper in the Southet Cape that rallied people together to fight for freedom during Apartheid South Africa - and an interview with Christelle Terreblanche (former journalist with Vrye Weekblad and South).
