enchant essence question

Asked this in game, on gossip, no answers.  So, I'm asking it here.

 

my char is level 37 druid with level 30 mage as my 2nd class.  Is it possible to enchant mage essence onto items, or just druid?

 

Does enchant essence  just pertain to your 1st class?

Hi,
Do not believe so. but do think you need to be a certain level before you
can do so.

but don't quote me. Ask in game around mid day when a lot of people are
around, as well as many of the gods. i find that asking info late night I
get very little response.

You need to be the level of the item or higher. So if you are 37 druid, you can enchant druid essence on an item 37 or lower, but not 38 or higher. And with mage, you could enchant mage essence on an item 30 or lower, but not 31 or higher.
