fame requirements and leveling

Hi, have a question regarding fame requirements to level.

 

I read the help file regarding fame and leveling past 30.

 

These are my char's levels currently.  I just leveled my druid level.

 

Druid 32

mage 26

warrior 21

cleric 16

necromancer 10

thief 5

 

I have spent 22 fame.

 

I was under the impression that it costs 20 fame  for every level past a certain level, as the following:

1st class past 31

2nd class past level 26

3rd class past 21

4th class past 16

5th class past level 11

6th class past  level 6

 

am I incorrect in my calculations?

I have no idea what the level cutoffs are, but I'm pretty sure that it's more than 20 fame per level.  Most people just check 'show fame' to see their current fame level, and most players get so much fame at low levels that it's never really a limiting factor.
