Remove the rant. It ruins the post. If you want to rant about mobile, do that in a separate post.

(but: I advise you not to post the rant at all. Your rant makes it sound like you don't know anything about mobile publishing, but have decided you hate it based on guesses. That's a bad impression to give people. Mobile dev + publishing is NOTHING like you describe, sorry :) )

I know nothing about mobile publishing myself, but I have to agree with Adam. You could simply state that it doesn't work well as a platform for your game (you mentioned using the whole keyboard, for example) and that you don't think you would do well in that eco-system. Nothing wrong with that.

It would also be good to run your post through some sort of spelling and grammar checker. While I have absolutely zero ability with second languages, so I applaud anyone who does, there are errors on pretty much every line that I see. I think fixing up some of those would definitely help make this easier to read.

Thank you guys :) I put it through spell checker and indeed there were quite a few typos. As for the rant, I'd rather not remove it, because... I'm wrong. If I remove it, people won't comment on that and I will still know nothing about mobile publishing. In this way, knowledgeable people can correct it and we all learn something.

No, what will happen is that people will ignore the rest of the (strong, positive) article.

Make two posts! It's not difficult!

Don't ruin the message of one post just to force the other post into the middle of it.

With all due respect, but not only is this a bad argument to make, but it makes you appear in a very unfavorable light. Your argument is comparable to saying "I know 2 + 2 = 3 is wrong, but I'll publish it anyway because some people who know more will correct me."

Why not send a mail to AltDevBlog or other related forums and ask for opinions and advice? You said your goal is to learn something about the topic and asking questions seems like a better way to approach this rather than transmitting a false statement.

I think that if "state of publishing mobile games as indie and how the mobile market looks like" is as simple as 2+2, my answer is much closer to 4 than 3... that's why I'd be not afraid to leave the rant there :) But it's not math, it's much more subjective than that (just as economy). Because I'm confident in my observations, I'd be willing to discuss it and hear what the rest of community thinks about it... even if to some of you it looks wrong. Well, everyone's entitled to their own oppinion.

Making it into a separate post, asking questions - if I had more time and interest in the mobile market... I have neither. So I'll just tone it down for AltDev as Joseph suggested. That's why I asked before publishing, although I was curious about other aspects.

Thanks everyone for feedback!
Hubert
