Old Gravatar information on blog (urgent)

Hi,

I just noticed that my Gravatar information has not been pulled by the old #AltDevBlog site... It still states that I work at Bugbear, which is no the case. It also does not list my most recent blog post. When logged in I see the new version but when not logged in, I still see the old text. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? It's a bit embarrassing to have old information in my introduction text :(

I had that problem for the longest time, too. I got a new account, I set everything up, I updated my Gravatar page, but it took a few weeks (!!) until that info I entered on Gravatar showed up. I updated the info again I think 2 weeks or so ago and just now that I look today I see the info updated.

It seems to take a really long time until ANYTHING in that bio section is updated. For now I'd say just give it time. Have you posted and "published" anything on the new AltDev site yet? If not, this will never update. You need to have an article published, then wait for the bio section to get updated (takes days or even weeks) and then it should appear.

That's what happened with my article anyway.

I have this problem too. You can flush it on a per-post basis by publishing a new version of the post (this flushes the cache).

Sadly the author page that lists articles never updates - I actually deleted an article and it's still listed there along with the outdated gravatar info.

Hope this partial solution helps, at least.
