Alhamdullilah our Week of Knowledge kicked off to a great start last night with a beautiful introduction to Surat Yaseen with Abu Aisha Muhammad Haroun and an overview of the Journey to the Hereafter with Shaykh Ragab Kenawi.
Today, we will be continuing both series at 6:30PM with the second part of Surat Yaseen's explanation and at 7:30PM with a description of the first stage of the hereafter; the grave.
Tomorrow from Asr Prayer 2:30 PM to Isha Prayer at 7:30PM Abu Abbaad Muhammad El-Shinawy will be here for a course on the Fiqh of Ikhtilaaf (Juristic Differing), in an Ummah that is far from monolithic, how do you navigate through all of the schools of thought, and the countless opinions provided by centuries of Islamic scholarship? How do you recognize the difference between an opinion that is legally sound and valid and one that isn't? How should you work with others who may have contradicting viewpoints with yours? This course is a must for every Islamic worker.
