Ok,  last stupid question for at least a few days !!

I'm trying to use Putty, instead of my VGA monitor that is connected to the I/O expansion module,  and emulating a VT-100.

I have a USB cable connected from the DUE programming  port to an available USB port on my desktop computer (running Win10-64bit).  Windows Device Manager shows the USB connection to be COM4,  so I setup Putty serial connection to be COM4, running at 115200.

When it makes connection to the Altair,  the LEDs flash briefly,  but no matter what I try,  I can not get anything to display on the terminal window.  I've tried AUX 1 down,  to get that listing,  but nothin on the terminal software. If I reconnect my VGA cable from the AD to my small monitor ,  all the data is still being written out to that monitor,  and not to the terminal window.

What did I do wrong?

It sounds like you have set the default configuration to use the VT-100 emulator.  If you save a configuration as #0 from the setup screen, that becomes the default when you turn the power on.

If you want to set everything back to original, there are a couple ways.
1. Download the SD card contents again from this page: https://adwaterandstir.com/instructions/
