Hi All,
I've just put up a new major release of these tools. For those who are unfamiliar, they allow you to open various Altair disk images to get a directory listing, copy files to/from the image, format new images and many more things from Windows, MacOS, Linux.
adgui provides a nicer user-interface to the altairdsk functionality. Binaries are provided for Windows, MacOS and Linux. Except the GUI version for MacOS, which must be built from source as I can't currently provide a pre-built version.
This is a rather large release. See the
Release Notes for more information. But a few of the highlights:
* Now supports ALL disk images shipped with the Altair Duino.
* New operating systems: Altair DOS & Basic, HD BASIC, CDOS, Timeshare Basic
* New disk formats: 5.25" and 8" Cromemco formats, MITS 5.25" "MINI" Format
* Encoded BASIC file to ASCII file conversion, meaning you can copy BASIC files off disks as normal editable text files.
* Support for disk / volume labels for CDOS and HD_BASIC
* Major automated testing improvements giving us bit-for-bit compatibility with the real hardware/operating systems for most disk operations and formats.
