Hi,

I unearthed my AltairDuino Experimenter (probably older vintage - it's in a wood case), and realized the power adapter has gone AWOL. I'd like to fire it up again. Can somebody give me the specs on the power brick? Center positive? Voltage? Inner / outer diameter of the barrel plug?

While I'm here, any recommendations for a serial to USB cable to connect to it would be great as well.

Thanks!

It needs to be center positive with a 5.5mm x 2.1mm (or 5.5mm x 2.5mm) barrel connector.  They're typically 9v, but 12v will also work fine.

Here's the last Serial-to-USB cable I bought:

Thanks!

A while after posting, I spotted the Micro-USB port and realized it solves all the problems in one go.

be aware that will bypass the main on/off switch and can cause problems if you need to cold boot.
