The case was more of an experiment in a different approach on Tinkercad.
I find that app useful, but often frustrating manipulating 3D objects on a 2D screen as the shape gets more complex. So my next attempt may be in OpenSCAD. It's a decent reason to learn something new. In any case, I'm pretty happy with the build as I learned stuff along the way, even if it doesn't need ventilation.
My post was primarily intended to leave a few trail markers for others, since when I started on this path I was given a great hint, but I had lots of questions. Info wasn't that easy to find, or just old.
I'm sure there's still more for me to figure out and tweak as I'm using it 'out of the box', but maybe this makes it a bit easier for the next guy.
