Hard Disk Controller Support

Well, really several things:

I tried to load the CPM image following Hansel's instructions on page 16 of his instructions (dtd 2023) Hard Disk Support.  I mount disk 3 (CPM) and set SW0-7 to 00001110 and press AUX 1 down.  (should it be 01110000 given the label is SW0-7???) Nothing happens.  I follow the procedure for MITS Disk Controller and it works fine (00001000 to execute).  That labeling is backwards from other parts of the instructions (MSB on the left/first. ie. SW15-0)

I try to run M80 on DEMO.ASM  and I get 10 fatal errors. (* :DEMO,A:DEMO=A:DEMO.ASM). When I run MAC DEMO it assembles fine.  I used WM to edit the file.  Does WM stick invisible formatting characters in the file?

When I use ED, nothing happens when I do a B2T (print first 2 lines example in the manual) nothing happens.

I'm using the experimenter, 2.5.x, VT100 emulator, DUE.
