Hi,

I found some games on Mike's website:

I guess they're tape data, but how do I load them into the Altair-Duino 680 emulator?

Also, is there a link to a newer 8K BASIC that can be loaded into the Altair-Duino 680 emulator?

From the ReadMe file in the same directory:

Data from the audio files has been extracted into S-Record files with a .S19 extension. Load programs through the console port using the SWTBUG “L” command. An execution S-Record has been added to each file at $A048 so the programs can be started by typing “G” after loading.

Will that work?

Instead of "G", on an Altair 680 you would jump to a specific address (ex. "J 0100").  But SWTPC software probably would not work on an Altair 680 without patching.  While they both used the 6800 processor, they had different ROMs and different a memory map and subroutine layout.  Much SWTPC software is calling MIKBUG subroutines which of course would not exist on an Altair 680.

I noticed on the other thread you referred to my emulator as an "SWTPC/Altair 680 emulator".  It is not.  It is an Altair 680 emulator only, not an SWTPC emulator.

Hi,

Okay, some of the discussions talk about SWTPC as well as the Altair 680 so I was thinking the software was compatible with both.
