XMODEM file transfer in the file manager for SD card on config menu

Hello

I have been trying to transfer .DSK files from my PC to the SD card using the [r] command in the file manager of the config screen. I see it is using xmodem. I have tired configuring serial ports every way I can think of but must be missing something because everytime I start xmodem transfer nothing happens. I am using TeraTerm transfer xmodem function. What port is the file manger looking to for this to work? I have successfully used pcput and pcget in cp/m to transfer files. Thank you for any incite. :-)

You have to start it from both sides. Starting it on one side has no mechanism to start the other side. You need to do that manually, before it times out.

I remember having the same problem back when Ward Christiansen gave me BASIC code to implement Modem on my Tandy Model 100. You have to be quick and start transfer on the remote side, then quickly start it on the local side. 

I don't think auto start was implemented until Zmodem.
