Altair Experimenter and Pro have the same main board ?

I am just soldering together the Experimenter kit and found the location on the board marked "VT100" was not explained in the assembly instructions. Do the Experimenter Version and the Pro Version have the same main board ? Does this mean the Experimenter assembly just does not insert two 3-pin segments in the VT100 location ?

Yes they have the same board. That connector is for future use.
