ALTA is organising a doctoral presentation session together with the ALTA 2022 workshop. The goal of the ALTA Doctoral Presentations is to provide current PhD students and recent PhD graduates with an opportunity to present their work to a group of mentors and peers from a diverse set of academic and industrial institutions, to get advice as to where their skills could lead them for their future research and career. One of the key aims is to help young researchers to gain visibility to their prospective employers.
Who can apply?
- Current PhD students
- Recent PhD graduates that either are looking for finding a job, exploring more options, or would like their work to be presented in the Australasian NLP community
Submission Guidelines
- Extended Abstract: A two-page description of your PhD research in the ACL format. It should cover:
- The key research questions and motivation of your research;
- The research approach and methodology;
- When you are expecting to graduate, or when graduated
- CV: A two-page curriculum vitae or a link to your LinkedIn profile.
