HI Nathan,

I am using AltAnalyze 2.07 64 bit MAC version

I am trying to learn how to actually use the program to view pathways etc. My data comes from Rat.

I can get the program to display WikiPathways eg GPCR but if I give it a WPID, it whines about the pathway..... ignoring the WPID
If I leave the WPID blank it works.

I was looking at PRUNED-GENE-ASSOCIATIONS.TXT file and found an entry of interest, WP1281, but I get the error ( see screen shot) when I ask it to display. Its not just this particular error. The suggested WPID ie WP254 fails too.

Is there a way to select "null" Wiki Pathway?

Hi Starr,

WP254 is a human pathway, so it won't work for your data. I get WP1281
to visualize fine when I enter this WPID for a rat dataset so I think
it has to do with your input text file (even though it is working for
the GPCR pathway). There is a log file created when you get this error
to the AltAnalyze directory called webservice.log. Can you send?

I'm not sure I understand your point "Is there a way to select "null"
Wiki Pathway?".

Best,
Nathan
