Having my coffee, thought I would post here while I can.

That's funny ... I looked here early this morning to see when we were
here last. I'm glad you posted here. I finished coffee a while ago, and
I'm waiting for office hours to make a few phone calls.

I hope you have a good day.

Betty formulated on Wednesday :
The lawn and yard crew is here to do spring clean-up. I'll go out later
to see what damage they did.

Have you heard them find any rocks with the lawnmower yet?

They always find the same ones.

They did a good clean up and trimming, the yard looks nice.

That's good. Do you have any blooms, maybe the azalea? My yard crew was
here last week to mow, so the grass looks good. We had a big storm
yesterday morning, heavy rain with lots of lightning and thunder.

Betty submitted this idea :
No, buds are coming out on the trees though. Severe trimming of the
rose bushes and trimmed up between the ornamental grasses where the
vegetable garden used to be.

Your ornamental grass is so pretty, I loved the dancing grass video. My
tree in the front yard is fully leafed out, but I haven't looked at it.
I'm just so thankful that I don't have to keep the yard now. It's hard work.

Betty laid this down on his screen :
Yes, it might have been a good hobby when I was more able to do it. Sis
has the expertise to do everything, but she also hasn't the physical
ability anymore.

The physical ability is my problem. The last two years have not been
good, and it's partially my fault for being less active. I should have
been walking to the park, and riding my bicycle, but the ambition was
not there. Now we have this virus isolation, which doesn't promote the
urge to move. I'm glad that you are still able to go for walks.

It's supposed to get into the seventies today just before the cold
front moves through with thunder and lightning and wind gusts. Sounds
like a good day for a walk while keeping an eye on the sky.

There was a big storm here yesterday morning, and it rained again this
morning. I think it's supposed to be in the upper seventies this
afternoon. I won't be going outside so it won't bother me. If I don't
get my plants outside pretty soon, I'm not going to have any left.

Ours aren't ready for the outdoors yet, no more frost is a must.

Betty

You're still having frost? I haven't checked the chrysalis for a couple
of days, but it looked unchanged the last I saw. That surely will not
continue, and my delay in moving the tree may contribute to another
unsuccessful result. My tree is not in good shape either. My former
neighbor called several days ago and said he could call someone else in
this neighborhood to come over to help me, but I declined.

Our tornado watch/warning went by quickly. We had some good wind gusts
but no sustained high winds. I went for a walk yesterday but the black
flies found me, and once they do they stick around.

Too bad about the flies, maybe next time will be better.

on 5/16/2020, Betty supposed :
Yeah, a slight wind will help.

If I'd known I would have sent you a portion of the wind from here.
We've been having some strong storms, definitely not good weather for
walking.

Maybe today I will venture out. It looks like it will be nice enough.

I hope you can. Maybe you will see something new. I saw a video
yesterday of a caterpillar that looks like a white feather ...
fascinating. It's from South America. We surely have something unusual
that you haven't yet discovered.

Betty used his or her keyboard to write :
So far, it is wet and sprinkling a bit. It should clear up later I
think.
