Hello All,

I have the book A Systematic Course in the Ancient Tantric Techniques of Yoga and Kriya by Satyananda Saraswati and I decided to give it a try. It claims to be a three year course and it has very good reviews in the Amazon site.

I know there are people in my situation (with no yoga centre or teacher around) who have started practicing along with the book already so, if you are one of them, I'm very interested in your experience following this book's instructions.

Please, feel free to send me a private email.

A Beginner.

Hello, I was browsing this group and saw your post. I have been loosely working with this book for the past several months on a daily basis. I think all the work from that school is quite good. I have not started the kriya's yet and probably won't for another few months, at least. I also own the companion book 'kundalini tantra', which gives some good insight also.
Maybe after I finish the chakra sadhana in that book I will move on to the kriya sadhana. Due to a knee injury several years ago, I actually can not sit in siddhasana or padmasana (or any variations thereof) at this time. I currently just use vajrasana on a zafu cushion.
My experience so far has been good. I would like to know your experiences with it also so please get back to me.
Thanks!
