Faux News passes off GOP press release as its own reporting
by: Pam Spaulding
Tue Feb 10, 2009 at 18:30:00 PM EST

Why don't they just rename this the Republican News Channel and get it
over with? (Media Matters):
In purporting to "take a look back" at how the economic recovery
plan "grew, and grew, and grew," Fox News' Jon Scott referenced seven dates,
as on-screen graphics cited various news sources from those time periods --
all of which came directly from a Senate Republican Communications Center
press release. A Fox News on-screen graphic even reproduced a typo contained
in the Republican press release.

Most viewers don't know Faux News has fake Liberals.
Listen to NPR and you'll hear many of the "liberals" from Faux News giving
conservative viewpoints. Some have been on NPR for decades giving
conservative views.

Faux News is a far right media, the deception is accomplished by presenting
fake liberals giving weak arguments for the moderates and the left. It
isn't real.

Well, the rest of the MSM don't even pretend to provide an opposing
viewpoint. It's all left, all the time. I really wish someone could
give me a name of someone giving Conservative views on NPR. Just to say
they do that is not quite enough to prove it to me. So it is still true
that if you want balance in your viewing, you should practice switching
channels more often.

It not even that ... it's the Propaganda Ministry of the Republican
party.
They proved that this week when they read a news release form GOP
headquarters, word for word, including a typo, and presented it as a
Fox news story.

All some of you do is post cut and paste articles from some leftwing rag...
I don't read this propaganda. I much prefer reading someone's own opinion
that doesn't come from these rags, liberal or conservative. Why don't you
think for yourselves sometimes?
You liberals are never fair and balanced. When was the last time you
listened to a conservative's point of view with an open mind?

How can "main stream media" (MSM) be left wing ?
By its inherent difinition, 'mainstream' would be in the center.

I know, you're just repeating what you're told by Rush and Fox.
They twist the meaning, so you get it wrong.

You "rich-wannabees" think the super rich give a damn about you ?
The only job they'll give you is licking their boots.

You betcha !

I listen to conservative views all the time...on NPR, where they give
concise real civil discussions. One person speaking at a time. No
shouting and no sound bites. Just real point to point discussion.

Amen ~ that's one reason i don't like Chris Mathews on Hardball.
He never shuts up.

I prefer Keith Oberman and Rachel Maddow.

Hmmm.....Rachel Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar, one of the smartest of the
smart.
Rush Limbaugh dropped out of college in his first year.

Figures.

I only watch Chris Matthews when I want to be entertained by someone
shouting down others!
