I read that they are going to cut funds to medicare

My understanding is that Medicare Advantage is for people who can personally
afford more health care than most retired folks. Is that true?

Um I don't think so. My mom and dad belonged to Humana,
which is a Medicare Advantage HMO. It was no cost to
them, and medicare payed Humana. There are many such
HMOs but the thing is here where I live they are more
costly than in other parts of the country. They also
offer free gym memberships and other perks.
