Another old mystery of ancient civilizations is unsolved in Death Valley,
which may conceal an underground city that was described in Paihute Indian
legend. The city apparently was first described 68 years ago, in Bourke
Lee's book, "Death Valley Men."

The book recounts that tale of two Death Valley men (identified as Bill and
Jack) who said they'd discovered the remains of an ancient civilization
after falling through the bottom of an old mine shaft near Wingate Pass.
They described an underground cavern that they followed for 20 miles into
the bowels of the Panamint Mountains. They claimed to have discovered
preserved mummies in what appeared to be an underground city.

The mummies wore armbands, and were holding golden spears. Included in other
artifacts they described were giant statues; a large roundtable; gold bars
and gemstones; perfectly balanced stone wheelbarrows; and huge,
counterweighted stone doors.

The source of light for the underground city, they discovered, was an
ingenious system fueled by subterranean gases. As they followed the tunnels
and caverns upward toward the eastern slope of the mountains, they
speculated that the ancient city (like Death Valley) likely was underwater
centuries ago, which might explain the arched structures that appeared to be
quays that they thought were docks for vessels.

Lee reports in his book that the two explorers retrieved some of the
treasures from the site, and attempted to market them to scientists they
thought were associated with the Smithsonian Institution. But the artifacts
were stolen and the men were never able to find the caverns again. Lee never
heard from Bill and Jack again.

In 1946, more than a decade after Lee wrote of the Death Valley tale, Dr. F
Bruce Russell claimed to have found a similar underground civilization
beneath Death Valley in 1931, the year before Lee's book was published. He
also reported finding eight-foot-tall mummies beneath the mountains, and
described artifacts of Egyptian and American Indian design.

Dr. Russell and a group of investors reportedly formed an enterprise they
called "Amazing Explorations, Inc" to profit from artifacts they found in
the caverns. Russell and his colleagues also couldn't find the entranced to
the caverns again, and soon thereafter, his car was found broken down and
abandoned in Death Valley. Russell's suitcase was in the car, but he was
never found.

Are there remains of an ancient civilization, or an Atlantis, under Death
Valley? Until modern explorers or prospectors stumble onto the caverns
again, we may never know.

Here is a developing listing of curious features on Mars that I have
found in the latest 25,000 Martian photographs released by Malin Space
Science Systems (MSSS). I will list the URLs along with brief commentary
about each. I truly do not know what many of these features are -- nor,
I suspect, do many other people. But I have seen enough in the several
hours I have already spent browsing the flood of new images from Mars to
think that the so-called "Face on Mars" may be the least of the
mysteries Earth's neighbor holds. Here are the links to the photos then,
in no particular order:

1) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0400334.html The interesting
feature here is the pyramidal, hill feature in the center of the image.
Is it an eroded pyramid? Or just a hill? You decide.

2) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0301345.html Look at the
vein-like network in the lower, right-hand corner of the image. This
type of feature recurs at many locations across the planet. Are they
water channels? Coincidentally, the patterns these "veins" form are
reminiscent of the patterns formed by the veins on terrestrial plant
leaves. Now, I am not suggesting that what appears on the Martian images
are huge, plant leaves. However, I wonder if we might not be seeing the
work of some life form that forms these networks. In other words, if the
biological process on Earth produces networks of veins on the leaves of
green plants, then, by analogy, perhaps the networks on Mars that have
somewhat the same appearance might also be the natural result of a life
process, albeit a Martian life process. What might that hypothetical
life process be? I don't know! Perhaps it would be strange, an
exobiological process. Maybe created by animal or plant life we would
find different, although somewhat recognizable; or maybe created by
something exotic, like a silicon-based life form that would appear very
strange to us. Might there be silicon-based life on Mars and might these
elaborate "vein-like" lattices that appear here and there on the Martian
surface be the result? Maybe. And maybe not. Maybe they are just a
natural geological feature. Or maybe they really are the work of an
exotic Martian life form. Whatever the case may be, they do bear closer
examination and discussion. There appear to be many miles of these
things scattered across the surface.

to the object in the upper-center portion of the image. It has a very
bright, white albedo on one side, and very dark, almost black on the
other. What is it? And then there are the several, dark black features
in the lower portion of the image. What are they? Holes? Shafts?
Entrances? Burrows? Something else? Natural features? Artificial? Also,
notice the round, button-like features. These knob-like features appear
by the thousands and thousands across the surface of Mars. They don't
seem to be meteorite craters, though it is hard to tell. They are very
regular and rounded looking, and there are no signs of ejecta. They are
all over the place. What are they?

curiouser. Here is one of the white, rounded "knobs" in the center of
the image. But what is the white "fog". Is it a cloud? A mist? A frost
on the ground? Perhaps a whitish, lichen-like life form that covers the
surface in patches? An accidental flaw in the photograph? Air brushing
by Malin Space Science Systems to obscure features they don't want us to
see? One of the above? None of the above?

absolute "blank" image. Or is it a patch of solid "fog", or a "cloud" as
seen from above, or a shot of an extended patch of who-knows-what, or
has Malin Space Science Systems 100% air brushed out what someone
doesn't want us to see? Or is it just an accidental flaw in the
photograph? One of the above? None of the above?

6) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0304528.html A number of
craters have these blotchy, very dark patches on their floors, that
stand in stark contrast to the rest of the surrounding surface. A crater
floor provides a relatively sheltered environment -- I wonder if these
dark blotches might not be some type of life form, perhaps analogous to
terrestrial lichens or mosses that grow in irregular, patch-like
communities here on Earth? The dark color also raises the possibility of
a marshy or boggy micro-environment. NASA and the JPL have conditioned
us to think of Mars as a harsh, ultra-dry world. What if they have
misled us and there really is surface water here and there, as in the
floors of some craters? Here on earth, in the middle of the Nevada
desert, for example, you can find seeps here and there, where springs
come burbling up right out of the desert floor; as a consequence, you
find little oases in the middle of the Nevada desert where you would
least expect them. What if something like that also happens on Mars?

similar to the previous one and raises the same questions.

8) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0300957.html More "veins".
The result of geological processes and natural erosion and weathering,
or possibly the work of some sort of unknown Martian life form? You
decide.

9) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0201124.html This one is
really interesting. I am not a geologist, but it appears that this image
displays the bed of an ancient water channel, that bisects the
photograph horizontally. And smack in the middle of what looks like the
ancient water channel, is a dark, lagoon-like feature. Might this
actually be a lake or pond, containing liquid water?

10) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0201126.html More "veins", a
prominent, rounded "knob" (or is it a "crater"?), and another dark,
lagoon-like patch in the right-hand part of the image.

11) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0300654.html More "knobs"
and long, linear "veins". Question: are the "knobs" life forms? In
appearance they resemble the bacterial colonies that biologists culture
in their laboratories on Petri dishes. Might the knobs be huge colonies
of organisms that grow clump-like all across the Martian surface,
drawing nutrients from the rock and soil? Are they perhaps in a
symbiotic relationship with the "vein" networks? Or are both the "veins"
and the "knobs" simply natural, geologic features?

12) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0304582.html Notice the
fingerlike projection that extends from right to left across the image.
There is a linear feature that is arrayed perpendicular to it, on the
left of the image. What is it? The juxtaposition of the two features has
an "arranged" feel to it. In the lower, right-hand corner there is
another, irregular dark blotch that is situated in what appears to be
the bed of an ancient water channel. A lake?

13) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/images/M0204841.html More "veins"
and "knobs". What are the "veins"? Water channels? Tunnels? Natural
features? Artificial constructs? Exotic life forms? And the "knobs"? Are
they craters? Natural geologic features? Colony-like life forms that
grow in a circular form, in an analogous fashion to certain molds and
fungi here on Earth?

I do not pretend to know what the anomalous features that appear in the
images above represent. I have asked questions and posited hypothetical
answers simply as a means of provoking wider debate. Mars is a different
world, a world with a different history, a different climate, a
different geology. And if there is life there, it may be very, very
different from the life forms we are familiar with here on the Earth.
Look at the images with an open mind and use the questions I have posed
only as a point of departure. I may be right, or very nearly right in
some of my suppositions. Or I may be completely wrong. But isn't it all
very curious? And the closer you look at the surface of Mars the more
fascinating it becomes. I will continue to browse these thousands of new
MSSS images and I hope many of you will do the same. If you find

Here are more curious features on Mars that are in the latest 25,000
Martian photographs released by Malin Space Science Systems (MSSS). I
have seen enough in the many hours I have already spent browsing the
flood of new images from Mars to think that the so-called "Face on Mars"
may be the least of the mysteries Earth's neighbor holds.

What are the curious dark lines in this image? Fractures in the surface
rock? Cracks in the permafrost (assuming there might be Martian
permafrost)? Something else, like a web or a network or filaments of
some sort of life? Notice the dark lines terminate in the near vicinity
of what seems to be the lip of a shallow crater that is visible in the
left side of the image. However, one of them extends well outside the
crater rim at about the two o'clock position.

What is this? It looks like a rille, or ancient stream bed covered with
a layer of rippled, washboarded sand and/or gravel. But can that
actually be a fog or a haze that lines both sides of the channel? Is it
actually a Martian fog? Or has Malin's magic, digitally obscuring air
brush been at work again to prevent us from noticing something he would
rather be kept obscured? What do you think?

Another crater with a huge, dark "splotch" inside it. I can think of at
least three possibilities for the many, many such craters with dark
"splotches". The "splotches" are: 1) underlying dark rock exposed by the
scouring action of wind; 2) air born dark material deposited in craters
by the wind; 3) communities of Martian life forms that may be akin to
terrestrial lichens that grow in crater bottoms because the "bowl" of
the crater offers a relatively sheltered environment, compared to
environmental conditions outside the crater bowl. All three
possibilities are hypotheses on my part. Maybe one of them is right; or
maybe they are all wrong. Remember, Mars is another world and what we
assume we know, based on our terrestrial fund of knowledge, may not
carry us very far there!

Here is what appears to be a wide, ancient water channel with a
"splotch" in the middle. I have noticed a handful of ancient water
channels that have such "splotches" in them. If, indeed, the "splotches"
represent some sort of life form, then crater bowls and the beds of
ancient waterways are logical places to find them. Why? Because whatever
moisture exists on Mars would tend to collect in depressions, funneled
there by the natural influence of gravity. Remember, such moisture could
conceivably flow in the subsurface, just as groundwater does here on
Earth. Anyone who has hiked in the desert knows that vegetation will
often be found in, or near, seemingly "dry" stream beds. That is because
water is slowly flowing in the sand and gravel of the stream bed, but
below the surface. The vegetation sends its root system down to the
water. Might we be looking at communities of Martian life forms that
cluster above and/or near scarce subsurface water deposits?

Filaments, from the northern plains. Are they permafrost cracks? A
complex fracture zone in the rock? A complex network of life forms, that
spreads like a web across the surface? Something else?

Pasteur Crater. Of course, Louis Pasteur was the famous 19th century
French bacteriologist who conducted so much pioneering biological
research. Are we being dropped a broad hint by those who name and
photograph Martian craters that we should look closer at this crater for
signs of Martian biology? Perhaps we are, for this particular image
comes with a particularly revealing close view of part of its "splotch".
The "splotch" turns out to be composed of myriad smaller, irregular
"splotches" that when viewed from afar appear to be one huge, uniform
"splotch". So what are we looking at? Dark rocks, poking up through a
lighter colored covering of soil and rock? Dark colored sand and grit
blown in on the wind and deposited on the crater floor? Or maybe myriad
small communities of Martian life forms, clinging to the rock, here and
there? If so, there are terrestrial precedents for this sort of
community. For example, in south Texas, USA, there is a huge mass of
solid granite rock, called "Enchanted Rock", that comes rearing straight
up out of the ground. A stupendously huge, natural monolith. Most
impressive. As you climb this enormous rock, you will discover that its
surface is pockmarked all over with shallow scoops and depressions that
have filled with dirt blown in by the wind. Seeds of grasses and small
plants have taken root, and even small aquatic plants and animals have
made their homes there in the small pools that fill from rain water. So
there you are, hundreds of feet up, climbing the side of a stupendously
huge block of granite that contains little terrariums and aquariums in
small scoops and hollows scattered across its face. Perhaps we are
seeing something similar here, in this close view of Pasteur Crater's
"splotch". Is it possible? Or are we only looking at rocks, sand and
dirt?

And then this one: "Stratigraphy traverse on plains north of
Deuteronilus." Something about this image drew my eye. There are enough
rectilinear features here, faint, but discernible nonetheless, that I
have included it for your consideration. There are several parallel
grooves and markings visible to the naked eye. (I am not talking about
the many parallel lines that run the length of the photo and which are
an artifact of the imaging process.) I simply do not know if there is,
or was, perhaps in remote antiquity, a technologically capable species
of life on Mars. But if there is, or was, and if there are traces in the
landscape of the activities of such a species, then perhaps that is what
is visible here. Or are these parallel, rectilinear lines and grooves
simply natural geologic features? From this remove, and with the
available evidence, it is impossible to say.

Finally, an example of what Malin and the JPL refer to as "fretted
terrain". There is a lot of this on Mars. I include it for its sheer,
raw beauty. And by the way, there's another dark "splotch" on the
left-hand side of the image. There seem to be a lot of them.

To describe this barely-explored, occult territory, where many got lost, we
are well advised to move within the sacred pattern of "The Tree of Life", as

has three "stations", to be modelled as observatories or

Your starting point is an assesment on your own station in life. Then the

Hod: The metaphysics of the Reflected Light.
Din: The mysticism of the Direct Light.
Binah: The comprehension of the Envelopping/Environmental Light.

The "Stations of The Right Path" and ethics and poetics of Lasers and
Holography

Netsah: The advantages of lasers for spiritual electro-optics.
Hesed: The poetics of Holographics.
Hokhmah: Holy Holography of Holistic Insight.

The "Stations of the Middle Path" and "The Light Body" and "The Lights of
Heaven":

Yesod: The Light Bodies System of the Kaballah.
Tif'eret: The Lights Tabernacle of Geometry and Harmonics.
Keter: The Dome of Heaven and the Dome of the Rock.

In each of these observatories we shall conduct both fuzzy and sharp-valued
observations.

The Din Exploratoriom:
The Mysticism of the Direct Light.


Din is Had veHalak - "Sharp and smooth" - and is thus exemplified by the
laser beam, especially as a surgical scalpel.
Din has to operate upon the case and choose the truth. Hitting the right
spot, making a surgical operation, you have to point at the malignant parts
in the Other - or Yourself - and either heal or cut them off.
Din is also Gevurah - heroism - and is thus exemplified by the sword.
Chivalry is based on Gevurah that has mixed with Hesed to form
Rahamim-(Tif'eret) Compassion.

You excercise there in motor coordination and in making hard decisions. You
wield your laser-pointer and point at what parts in you seem to be aching.
These may yet become healing lights - for the aching and to make the wounded
whole again. But you may have to cut to get to where it hurts, and still use
the straight pointer to hone the healing light upon the needy parts.

The Binah Exploratorium:
The comprehension of the Light-Enviroment.

The Makifim, or Environmental Lights, can not be viewed by the individual as
inside their soul, but only in the space, the environment, between two or
more people. The "ether" between two, or more, people can become so charged,
that a light appears there.

Now one of the appelations of the Sefirah of Binah is "The Heavenly
Jerusalem". Considering the considerable investment we've done in
explicating and illustrating "The Heavenly Jeusalem", his interpretation can
pay us some dividends. So let's envision ourselves going into "The Heavenly
Jerusalem Pavilion" in a Paradisical Theme Park (PTP) or a Paradisical
Internet Site (PIS).

In the sides of the Binah Exploratorium there are 6-12 cells for Diadic
Environmental Array Reconstruction (DEAR) Work. In the center is the
operating Theatre for the Group Environmental Array Reconstruction (GEAR) or
the Group Array Motion Environmental (GAME). Those who progressed in their
DEAR Work can progress to the GEAR/GAME procedures.

The Netsah Exploratorium:
The advantages of lasers for spiritual electro-optics.


The case for Spiritual Optical Universal Language (SOUL) is that the
metaphore of Light is the readiest Spiritual Metaphor. As spiritual matters
become prominant in the society, there will appear a felt need to elucidate
the psychological-spiritual issues between people and groups with light
technology, so that each participant can see with his/her own eyes the
situations, processes and development between people.
It is within such arenas that lasers can come to their own. The concept of
Yosher means both "straight line" and "honesty". With proper laser
facilities, honesty between, and within, people can be displayed to these
people and to others. "Driving a straight deal" can become a goal in
management studies and Social Orientation Development (SOD) workshops for
all ages.

The Hesed  Exploratorium
The Poetics of Holographics.


Pornography is but a poor emasculated attempt to witness the conjuntion
between some a-priory-separated bodies. Would'nt you rather watch the union
between two, or more, people who are really in love? And in this context,
isn't the union of the hearts and of the minds/brains much more moving and
inspiring than the mere union of the genitals? So with or without of the
latter parts, the explicit exploratorium of loving and understanding
relationships would be a supreme attraction. And if people are shy to admit
that they do not even know what love is, they can watch the show in private,
see themselves projected upon the chambers of the Beloved.
An interactive Light Show of Loving Relationships and/or a therapeutic
facility to restore the ability to love can use holography as its primary
matter. Seen as a universal symbol, the Heart image (your own and of YHWH -
Your Heart With (i) Heart, Your Heart with my Hurt, etc.) can serve in our
paradisical exploratoriums even better than in traditional Christian cult
could. The sacred heart is no longer crucified upon the Tree of Death, but
nurtured and tenderized in the womb of The Tree of Life (see High-Or's
Christmas InteligenTree.). Tenderising the heart amounts to what the
prophets of Israel referred to as "removal of the Stony Heart and Implanting
a Fleshy Heart".


The Hokhmah Exploratorium:
Holy Holography of Holistic Insight.


The Light of Wisdom is Mati veLo Mati, Touching and Not Touching. It is the
ultimate tickle. Now you are connceted with The One, and your Soul was at
the Yekhidah, the OneSoul of the Whole, the Holy Infinite One Blessed Being
(HaWaYaH). The truth is that we can't stand it for more than a split second
anyway, or our separate beings are shuttered. But in this split second we
have a view of Eternity (see above) which is not only sharp and pointed, but
also all-encompasing eco-logical Lights and the visions of all the Partsufim
that are reflected off the Head Supernal Anthropos - Adam Kadmon. The
sweetness of this light is indescribable, it melts you right into ecstacy.

Now this Light of Wisdom is incredibly precise - You justly cannot move it
with your own personal will. It's above Compassion and above both Good and
Bad. All the hard facts suddenly get tessalated together into an entire and
whole pattern - Your own life within the whole universal context. The light
is enough to show you that this is the case, but not to inspect the details.
All the pieces of the puzzle, the incidents of your life, the parts of the
Holistic Design that we are exercising in this pavillion, are all seen to
fit into the Rock that's under its Dome of the Holy Wisdom.

The Yesod Exploratorium:
The Light Bodies System of the Kaballah.


The Foundation Study for our Technology of Enlightenement is the handling of
the Light Body system of the Kabbalah. The Basic terms are Or Yashar, Or
Hozer, Or Makif  and the Orot Pnimiyim laKelim. The first two are called
Yehidah and Hayah, while the latter three are called Neshamah (a threshold
case), Ruah and Nefesh. What we see constructed in this exploratorium is the
constraction of the divine Tselem, the Body of Light in which each human
being should dwell with upright stature to walk with God.
We state that the pattern upon the inside of the Dome of the Rock, namely
the Heavenly Womb, is made of 32 such Tselems surrounding the One in perfect
harmony. So we take this (apparently Masonic) Sufi pattern to be derived
from the depository of the Temple of Jerusalem (or the innermost tradition
of Israel) as a picture of the divine Tselem in which Adam was created. (see
examples in the Hope Art Gallery, such as _________, _________,
___________). These basic constructions become then the figures that ascend
to play at the higher exploratoriums.

The Tif'eret Exploratorium:
The Lights Tabernacle of Geometry and Harmonics.

This is probably the most fun place in this whole Virtual Fun Palace of an
Internet Paradise. A pure and delightful display of Illuminated Space
itself. Loving fun and fine-balancing of opposites, a skillful and masterly
play with all the elements of Light, Color, Sound, Surrounding and
Surrendering.

What is particularly vivid at the Tif'eret Pavilion, which we may call
Sukkat Shalom, is the tying-together (Ihuy - making-into-brothers) of the 12
edges of the Sukkah Space Cube which were rent asunder. (The Parokhet Screen
before the Holy of Holies, at the place of the Sephirah of Da'at,  was a
self-referrential symbol for the entire Mikdash. (The Renting of the
Parokhet mentioned in the Gospels is a pre-figurring symbol of the full
event of the Destruction of the Temple, where the 12 edges of the Virtual
Holy of Holies, got rent asunder by the flames the Romans burnt. The entire
Mikdash became the Korban Asham sacrificed onto the Heavenly Temple.)

The Da'at Exploratorium:
The Ispaclariah of the Tree of Knowledge

By Aspaclariah the Kabbalists denoted the light screen upon which the
prophets could see the (inherently invisible) divine realm. We read in it
"i-space-eclar-Yah", a space that clears to reveal the Face of YaH (which we
can take, in the Buberian sense, of "The Eternal Thou"). (tbc../)..

Whatever processes, imaged as light spheres at 3D space-frame, go on the
Tif'eret Pavilion, these are projected upon the 2D screen of Conscious
Meanings. This is The Face of the All-Knower - this is the Meaning of It
All, of all our lives upon earth.
(And when the forming mind of Adam (namely nascent Unified Humankind) born
off the Adamah conceived (by guessing - Nehush or "new-sensing")  that
U-Mankind could become as Gods, creators of heavens and earthes, then Adam
became confronted with the apparition of The Tree of Knowledge of Good and
Evil.

This show returns daily at the Da'at Exploratorium, where the incomers and
their outcomes are seen on a fractal balance-sheet that sums their
life-accounts. And as their Me-Dots aggregate, we start seeing, appearing
upon this screen, The Beloved Face of the Lord.

The Keter Exploratorium:
The Dome of Heaven and the Dome of the Rock. (tbc../).

Now we take it as our belief that The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem was
conceived by its (Essene-Zadokite, Gnostic, Sufi, Monastic, Masonic, or
whatever) designers as a spectacle of the Dome of Heaven as they conceived
it. It is upon the pattern of Heaven that they could display their highest
value of Life on Earth. We further believe that such displays are useful,
indeed good, that it is Good to become Conscious, overeaching to the Bad
that this brings too. So we have a figure cut out before us, the Pattern of
the Dome of the Rock, together with the new laser rays emitting out of it a
Crown, a Keter.

Federal Judge Dismisses UFO Lawsuit
A federal judge in Phoenix has granted the government's request to
dismiss a
lawsuit brought by a group of UFO activists for information about a very
unusual triangular-shaped aerial object.

In Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) v. Department of Defense (DoD),
Chief
U.S. District Court Judge Stephen M. McNamee, in an 8-page decision, has
ruled that the DoD had conducted a reasonable search even though it did
not
find any information. In his decision, Judge McNamee stated "this case
is
not one over the existence or non-existence of UFO's, but whether the
government has conducted a reasonable search regarding information on
specific aerial modes of transportation.

A fruitless search is immaterial if Defendant can establish that it
conducted a search reasonably calculated to uncover all relevant
documents
requested for by Plaintiff. Defendant has met its burden by providing
sufficiently detailed affidavits for the Court to conclude that a
reasonable
search was conducted in responding to Plaintiff's FOIA request for
documents. Plaintiff has failed to demonstrate substantial doubt
regarding
the reasonableness of the search. Therefore, Defendant's Motion for
Summary
Judgment is granted."

CAUS attorney, Peter A. Gersten, stated he is considering an appeal of
the
Court's decision.

Particle Collider Will Not Cause End-Of-The-World Disaster

When the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider begins operating in May, it
will
recreate conditions that have not existed since the dawn of the
universe.   
Could that mean the end of the world?

Last year a British newspaper charged that the new physics experiment on
Long Island, NY might somehow generate a black hole that would swallow
the
planet, or perhaps turn all of creation into some kind of deadly
"strange
matter."

Given that the collider will hurl particles into one another almost at
the
speed of light, generating temperatures of a trillion degrees and
creating a
substance that has not existed for 13 billion years, it is easy to
imagine
that it might cause some kind of catastrophe.

But a panel of physicists commissioned by the Brookhaven National
Laboratory
after the article came out in The Sunday Times of London has determined
that
every imaginable disaster scenario would be impossible " or at least
extremely unlikely.

"Our conclusion is that the candidate mechanisms for catastrophe
scenarios
at RHIC are firmly excluded by existing empirical evidence, compelling
theoretical arguments, or both," the panel wrote in their report to
Brookhaven director John Marburger.

The black hole idea was easy to dismiss.  Although the RHIC collisions
will
pack an awful lot of energy into a very small space,  their total impact
is
roughly equivalent to a mosquito hitting a screen door. Hardly enough to
make a black hole.

Another scenario was at least theoretically possible. Maybe a collision
could create strangelets, a new form of matter that would also transform
everything in contact with it "  at the speed of light.

"This one you can't absolutely say no to," said Brookhaven physicist Tim
Hallman.

But in order for RHIC to create world-destroying strangelets, a whole
chain
of things that physicists consider impossible would have to happen.
First,
strangelets would have to be produced at an unbelievably low energy for
RHIC
to be able to generate them.

Second, they would have to be much more stable than physicists think
they
are in order to exist long enough to do any damage.

Third, they would have to be negatively charged " in violation of
current
theory. A positively charged strangelet would immediately be isolated
from
the rest of the universe by a swarm of negatively charged electrons "
and do
no harm to anybody.

There's one more disaster scenario.  Somehow the massive energy released
at
RHIC could jar the universe into a lower vacuum energy state.  The
vacuum
state is sort of the energy level of empty space. It is possible, but
unlikely, that the universe is not in the lowest possible vacuum energy
state and that RHIC could jostle it to a less energetic level.

"This would trigger a chain reaction which would literally swallow up
the
whole universe at the speed of light," said Brookhaven physicist Tom
Ludlam.

But if that were possible at RHIC, it would have happened already
somewhere
else. Powerful cosmic rays, generated in deep space by exploding stars
and
other extremely violent sources, have been smashing into the moon and
other
celestial objects with at least as much energy as the RHIC collisions
for
billions of years. So the physics panel concluded that if a resetting of
the
universe's energy were possible at RHIC, it would have happened
somewhere
else by now.

In the end, that argument really applies to all the potential RHIC
disaster
scenarios. Mother Nature has been creating particle collisions more
powerful
than RHIC's for eons. It's just that until very recently, compared to
the
age of the universe, people haven't been around to worry about them.

Physicists say the collider will begin operating some time in May,
depending
on how long it takes to power up the superconducting magnets and fill
the
machine with gold nuclei. It typically takes
months to get a high-energy particle collider operating.

Secret Navy Sonar Tests Harmful to Rare Whales

Rare beaked whales, eight so far, have been found dead on beaches in the
Bahamas.  Multiple deaths of these elusive creatures are virtually
unknown,
and now environmentalists are laying the blame on top-secret
anti-submarine
experiments by the British and Americans.

They say a military exercise to test an anti-submarine warfare system
has
confused the mammals' delicate navigation, causing them to go into a
frenzy.
Fleeing from the torture of the sound waves, they are washed ashore,
where
they die because they cannot get back into the sea.
Recently, environmental charity Earthwatch called for an end to the
tests
before more whales perish. And scientists said the last time this type
of
whale died in numbers, they were close to sonic experiments.

The tests on the joint US-British system, which began ten days ago north
of
the Abaco Islands, involved a buoy emitting a sonar signal which was
received by another buoy while a submarine passed between them.
Computers on
surface ships then identified the submarine's exact location.

US Navy Commander Greg Smith said: "There's no scientific data that the
testing was linked to the unfortunate demise of the great mammals."

But marine biologist Dr Ken Balcomb, of Earthwatch, said it was more
than a
coincidence that 14 whales were grounded on three beaches close to the
Abaco
Islands test sight within 48 hours of the sonar experiments starting.

'It cannot be just coincidental. We want the tests stopped,' he said.

Eight of the 14 beached whales died, while the other six have been
enticed
back into deeper water. Professor Alexandros  Frantzis, of the
University of
Athens, who investigated the deaths of 12 beaked whales in Greece after
sonar tests by Nato in 1996,  said: 'Mass stranding's of this species
are
very, very rare. Deep-diving whales seem to be especially affected by
low
frequency sounds. But little is known about the whales'  reaction.'

The US and Britain maintain a secret worldwide system of under water
listening devices and sound emitting buoys to track submarines. They
fear an
increasing number are passing into the hands of potentially hostile
countries such as Iran.  Millions has been spent to develop the sonar
system.

Some environmentalists said they feared the generated sound
disorientated
the whales, causing them to "go crazy" and, in effect, commit suicide by
beaching themselves. The mammals use a form of sonar to navigate, hunt
and
communicate.

THEY FLY THROUGH THE AIR WITH THE GREATEST OF EASE DEPARTMENT -
Serious Progress Hinted In Secret Anti-Gravity Projects

The gravity shielding experiments of the Finland-based Russian scientist
Yevgeny Podkletnov has been not received much respect in the world of
physics.  In fact most scientists think that antigravity research
belongs in
the realm of fantasy.

But not everyone is laughing. The military wing of the hi-tech
conglomerate
BAe Systems took the Podkletnov experiment so seriously that it has
launched
an anti-gravity research program, Project Greenglow.  
(http://www.greenglow.co.uk)  If the technology could be made to work it
would make existing forms of transport obsolete.
BAe last week confirmed that the project, led by the mathematician Ron
Evans, existed but would give no further details. Like many of the few
scientists around the world exploring gravity shields and gravity
beams,  Dr
Evans is believed to be fearful of ridicule. The cold fusion debacle,
when
scientists' claims to have created a solution to the world's energy
problems
in a lab flask were discredited, casts a long shadow.

Dr Evans, at BAe's stealth and electronic warfare department at Warton,
Lancashire, is understood to be working with scientists at Lancaster
University. There is a sparse website, (http://www.greenglow.co.uk),
which
describes the project as "a speculative research program - the beginning
of
an  adventure which other enthusiastic scientists from academia,
government
and industry might like to join, particularly those who believe that the
gravitational field is not retricted to passivity."

In 1996 Dr Podkletnov claimed to have discovered a way to shield objects
from gravity by placing them over a superconducting disc which, in turn,
rotated above powerful electromagnets.

His findings were to be published in a British physics journal, but news
leaked out and, after press stories that scientists had made an
anti-gravity
device, he was booed by peers who accused him of breaking the laws of
physics. He withdrew his paper and went into a huff. The university that
had
sponsored him, in Tampere, Finland, withdrew its support, and he has
returned to Russia.

But the notion of a machine that could gently lift objects - people,
freighters, spacecraft - with a hum of electricity gripped some people.
A
few serious scientists and engineers have been trying to
reproduce Dr Podkletnov's results.

This month he slipped into Britain to give a lecture at Sheffield
University, where he claimed that the latest Russian gravity shielding
experiments had made objects 5%  lighter, compared with 2% in the
Finnish
study.

*EDITORS NOTE *
Dr. Podkletnov's belittlement by the scientific community is another
fine
example of how closed-minded some scientists can be towards new ideas.
Few
of Podkletnov's detractors ever took the time to study his findings - or
even to replicate his research. Obviously, Russia has continued the
research
with some alleged success - at least according to Dr. Podkletnov.  Of
course, if the United States already has antigravity technology, albeit
secret, there is no reason to encourage outsider scientists like
Podkletnov
to conduct such research.  Working antigravity technology is an
exclusive
club, not everyone is allowed to participate.

Missouri OKs UFO initiative By Sally Suddock

In what may be a first for the UFO disclosure movement, the State of
Missouri has approved a    ballot initiative to crack government
secrecy.
The Missouri secretary of state has certified ballot  petition language
that
would ask voter approval of a proclamation to urge congressional action
for
"ending the government cover up of the UFO experience."

Organizers of the Missouri initiative, the local affiliate of the Mutual
UFO
Network (MUFON), say they have until May 7 to gather 75,000 signatures
to
place the question on the fall general election ballot. Bruce Widaman,
who's
spearheading the effort, termed it " a grassroots means for empowering
the
voters to legislate statutory change." To meet the state's May 7
deadlines,
he said, " we have to round up at least 500 signature-gathering
volunteers."

The group is setting up a donations banking account at MUFON
headquarters in
Texas  (http://www.mufon.com) to help support the project. Missouri is
one
of 16 states with a full initiative process. Wideman said the group
hopes
that other states will follow Missouri's lead in what he called "the
Year of
UFO Awareness." The other 15 states that could send a stronger message
to
Congress through the initiative process, he said, are Alaska, Arizona,
Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota,
Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

The MUFON Network's George Filer reported Tuesday that numerous UFO
researchers         worldwide view this initiative as a formal means for
gaining (and expressing) the sense of the electorate on a vital public
issue: "If indeed the Earth is being visited by alien spacecraft, then
we
have a right to know and the government has the duty to tell," Widaman
said.

Thatcher Used Echelon to Watch the Tory Wets - Submitted by PARA

MARGARET Thatcher used a secret intelligence network to spy on enemies
within her Cabinet, it was claimed recently.  The former Tory prime
minister
arranged for an agency code named Echelon to intercept traffic from two
ministers who she claimed weren't on side according to former Canadian
secret agent Mike Frost.

He told how Baroness Thatcher took advantage of highly classified links
with
his service to spy on leading colleagues in 1983.

A Canadian intelligence operative from 1972 to 1992, he tells how Lady
Thatcher allegedly exploited Echelon, which was set up by the U.S.,
Britain,
Canada, New Zealand and Australia in 1948, to tap into the activities
of  
her most prominent Conservative critics. With an ability to infiltrate
both
national and international telephone conversations, fax messages and now
e-mails Echelon offers the potential for political leaders to cheek on
the
activities of close colleagues while circumventing British intelligence
systems.

Mr Frost does not name the ministers, although it is clear they were not
suspected of espionage or of being traitors.

However, it's well known that a cabal of so-called Tory "wets" continued
to
oppose and privately plot against Lady Thatcher as she used her
popularity
after the Falklands War to pursue a right-wing policy. The most
prominent
left- wingers in the Cabinet at the time were Michael Heseltine, Jim -
now
Lord Prior, and Peter - now Lord Walker.

They survived the earlier cull of the wets, but Lord Prior had been
shunted
off the Northern Ireland Office, and Lord Walker sidelined to
agriculture,
followed by energy.  Mr Heseltine remained as Defense Secretary, until
he
sacked himself by walking out of the Cabinet in 1986 over the Westland
affair.

As Tory critics continued to agitate within the party, and staged secret
breakfast meetings to plot and Scheme against the premier, there is
little
doubt that she would have done all in her power to find out what was
going
on.

In her memoirs, "The Downing Street Years," Baroness Thatcher admitted
that
relations with Mr Heseltine had "never been easy."  And when he was
moved
from the Environment Department to Defence in 1983, it was clear that
she
never really trusted him and regarded the flamboyant politician as a
threat
to her position.

These pages are a tribute to the many wonderful men and women who have given
so much to Ufology and are no longer with us. We owe a great deal to these
incredible researchers and brave experiencers, who worked tirelessly to shed
light on this intricate subject we call Ufology. We must never forgot the
contributions that these individuals made in this field, and the sacrifices
many made which cost them dearly. As those of us plough on full steam ahead
to find answers to all those questions we desperately need answered, we must
not forget the pioneers who came before us, who paved the road for us to
travel.

The list below is in no particular order, or preference. If I have missed
someone you'd like to see here please let me know via email so I can remedy
the situation.


There are of course countless contactees and experiences who have also given

That's a good question Roger. I have often wondered what that was.
Well can't see the planets moving around to show someone where to go
so have discounted the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction. Now that leaves a
UFO... I can't see a purpose in having a UFO when Jesus is supposed
to have come from the Inner Worlds. I'd believe that Jesus, as Son of
God would have a very bright luminous spiritual form, which would
hover above Mary as she was carrying him.

Perhaps the pollution wasn't so bad then and we could see the etheric
world easier and Jesus' spirit shone through. This leaves the problem
of why there wasn't a star hovering over after He was born. Well
maybe special beings have the ability put a spiritual cloaking device
around the aura of Jesus to dim His light when he was alive in a
human body. He was shining brightly after He died. And now for
something really different... I have seen Jesus with my own eyes.

The time I saw Jesus in the flesh. By Nicky Molloy. Dec 1999

In London in crowded tube train in the early 1980s I saw Jesus. It was the
after work rush hour and everyone was squashed into the carriages and there
was hardly breathing room. I was standing and many people were pressing
against me and their faces were bright under the ceiling lights and they
didn't look so healthy and a bit pasty faced against the artificial light. I
am a people watcher and I looked around at all the faces to philisophize
about their place in the eternal scheme of things and I casually turned my
head, hoping to glimpse all that were in view as discretely, as possible as
the English think it is rude to stare. Normally I can see and feel
everyone's auras and sometimes I look at them when there is time to spare
and
wonder how they got all the colours and how they express themselves silently
while they don't give away their secrets of what they feel.

I was casually darting my eyes on the faces around and right opposite
me was a man dressed in a navy suit. I am about 5'6" so I would say he was
about 6' tall. Under the artificial lights and noise of the train he looked
an oasis of peace and order. I looked again at his face to get another look
and saw that he wasn't going to look back at me and was almost giving me the
go ahead to give him a really good stare without either pretending I wasn't
there or responding emotionally that he was being watched and was aware of
it. There was absolutely no response at all from him, that he was going to
mind that I couldn't resist looking a bit longer than was good taste at
someone opposite me, so close.

Anyway what I noticed was that he didn't have a pasty face, all white and
sick looking like the rest of the passengers. His skin looked glowing with
good health and I wondered why. How could anybody in this rat race ever look
healthy, I wondered, with no obvious sign of being in the sun. His skin was
exactly the same as an English person, white. I puzzled on why he didn't
have black circles under his eyes as his face looked absolutely perfect. A
computer couldn't have generated a more perfect shaped face.

He had an oval shaped face with a straight nose of medium length. His eyes
were med blue and the lids were unhooded, considering he looked about 35.
The dark eyebrows were arched up and very subtlely matched with the eyes so
that they didn't stand out. The cheekbones were curved so as to add a nice
form to the face and they made his face look intelligent and fine featured
especially with the forehead clear and wellshaped. The jaw was equally
curved so it didn't look angular or weak. It just completed a perfectly
balanced design that made this man look just a bit too perfect, for my
artists eyes to believe he was really a London business man, who never lay
in the sun to look so glowing with vitality.

I looked up at his face yet again and still he didn't mind me taking another
long peek. I knew he was reading everything about me, though I could not
read a single thing about him. It was too puzzling for me, where was his
aura? He didn't have one. He didn't project any emotions at all, no thoughts
either. I am telepathic and it is easy for me to pick up thoughts of anybody
nearby but this man didn't have any thoughts either. I looked up at his face
again and saw that he didn't have a fleshy energy - he was like a hologram
as far as radiating earthiness and the activity outside himself of the
processes inside, eg emotions, thoughts, desires etc

How could anybody have no aura, or any evidence at all that there was a
person like ourselves inside this image yet I can feel a distinct
peacefulness and not only that but having let this peacefulness flow into
myself the quiet was so deep that I started to understand on a deeper level
what was happening with this man. I looked up at his face again and he as
usual didn't look back, yet I knew he was a billion times more subtle than
me, yet he didn't respond to me at all in any way at all. Nothing. Not even
a smile of amusement at my examing every inch of his face. He had a smart
suit on and his shoulders were broad. He stood straight and elegantly
amongst the squashed and worn out people after a hard day at work. His hair
was perfect, it was cut short and neat. Not an ounce of tiredness was
present in his face.

After about 15 mins of his peaceful energy seeping slowly into me and me
becoming very quiet in my soul, I felt that he belonged to the universe and
was a ruler of it. For some reason his intelligence started to slowly enter
my consciousness and I felt that he was an ambassador from God. As he made
me feel so quiet I perceived consciously an awareness of his ability to run
the universe. For some reason it seemed to reduce in scope of being an
enormously overwhelming complicated mass of stars to one where all was well
and that every problem could be dealt with swiftly and very efficiently. His
experience of running the universe was overflowing into my mind.

The world was beginning to match him, who was experienced as a hologram to
me due to the fineness of his energy. For some reason the whole world to me
in his presence was very distinctly maya. It was like the atoms had somehow
become unravelled and the gaps inbetween had been huge and what was between
all the atoms had shown through. Each atom had stopped spinning so fast and
had slowed down and become transparent. I felt small enough to see one atom
and the distance to another atom as a big empty gap. This man made the atoms
slow down for me for a moment so I could see through them and way out across
the universe. The whole universe was his home - I knew it.Yet I felt so huge
as well that the universe was able to be walked through, whole galaxies were
around me as small as apples.

After I realised that this man opposite me was not only, not of this earth,
nor was he just another Et ( I had spoken with lots so did know the
difference), nor was he an angel ( I had spoken with angels previously too)
but he actually ran the universe and was an ambassador of God. I looked
again at his face and I knew he was responding to me and he knew that I
picked up, he was not of this physical world, but was much more than that.
He was a ruler, with enormous power and majesty. My mind started to draw on
all the things I had read and experienced of the evolutionary process and I
wondered how much more advanced he was than us mere mortals, still stuck in
the cycle of rebirth. I worked out that he must have been at least 5 million
years ahead of us still here on this planet. Weighing up his abilities I
figured it would take that long to develop that peace which he emanated and
to dispose of any material world troubles that would accumulate by having to
live elsewhere in the universe as well. I figured the earth was far too
limiting in scope for him and he would have to at least 5 million years
experience to refine himself to that extent.

I was engrossed in philosophising about him and what he would have to do to
become so powerful and how difficult it would be to walk completely
undetected and what he would be doing here on the planet. So started on this
question in my mind and looked at him again. A vision of UN flashed in my
mind out of nowhere. He worked for UN as a consultant. It wasn't business or
agriculture. I felt that the info was given to me as a gift from this person
so I wouldn't have to spend ages going through all possibilities. Thank you.
A person who advised on the help for 3rd world countries and took care of
the suffering, by getting sponsors and making sure aid got there. I was so
impressed that this person was so kind.

Suddenly he tapped me on the shoulder and took me away from my deep thoughts
on him. "Excuse me there is a seat over there" and he pointed to a vacant
seat. I was shocked, nobody has ever offered me a seat before. It was
usually every person out for themselves to grab it. I smiled at him and for
the first time he looked at my eyes and I thought I knew him before. It was
like time stood still for me and this confirmed everything for me that he
was definately not of this world. When he talked a huge amount of energy
escaped from his voice and it was like a spiritual wind had blown away the
clutter in my mind of trying to find out more.. His eyes were soft and
expressed love and emotion. I sat down and thought, I wonder if he is being
English for now as he sounded English when he talked - in a very soft voice.

Very soon the person on my left got up and went and he came and sat next to
me. I knew he was a hologram or at least felt like one to me. I thought I
could put my arm through him. I laughed to myself at catching him out. I had
read books on the ascended masters walking around among us but I thought to
myself, this is not an ascended master he is too powerful for that and he
rules the universe under orders from God. He is God's ambassador -
confirmed - I thought at least for this universe, not sure about other
universes.. I was so pleased that I ' managed to spot one of the masters' ,
but I said to myself there just can't be two of these people so he must be
the most powerful of them all. How could this man run the universe and have
anyone above him but God? His power was mighty.

I curiously moved my mental body in his direction to try to pick up his
thoughts. It bounced back immediately, repulsed by an impenetrable barrier
which was as hard as his body felt like a mirage and flimsy to me. I was
taken aback. His mind was so wrapped up in some barrier, that it seemed
absolutely impossible to even get near. It was like a magnetic force field
which made all his thoughts completely unable to be read at all. No wonder I
never picked up any reponses from peeking at him. Everything which was
inside of him was tightly bound up so not a single thought or emotion
escaped or got penetrated by the deliberate thoughts of others.

As I sat
next to him I could feel the force of the barrier around his head and it
seemed as if that was the real him and not the body. But I knew that he was
binding up an electrifying intense blinding light which would escape and
give him away if he didn't hide it. He hid it beautifully and made no
impact, on even someone right opposite. I may not have noticed but I guess
if we think of someone and deliberately try to enter their consciousness,
some part of ourselves actually goes to the mind of the person and gets in
if they let it. He did not let me even on the edge of his consciousness and
the little I did get was enough to let me know running the universe was easy
for him.

He then said to me by telepathy and really loudly - WE ARE AMONG YOU. Then
shortly after he got up and left the train.
This is the absolute truth. I never knew it was Jesus, as I was not a
Christian then, had never read the Bible or even gave Him any thought. He
told me himself over ten years later that it was Himself, after a few more
experiences of Him appearing to me, but I never ever considered that, the
man on the train was Him. I became a Christian in 1984. I can still see
every detail of his face in my
memory.

The Russian Orthodox Church and other practicing Christians in Russia are
incensed over the new ID numbers that the Ministry of Taxation plans to
issue to all citizens in the federation—the ID number series all have the
Satanic “666” numerals, a situation that the Russian Orthodox Church Synod
calls “evil.”

Russia Today newspaper reported Tuesday that the numbers are found in the
new bar code identifiers the government intents to introduce. Not only is
the new barcode evil, said the church, “the Russian Orthodox Church
understands that the system of tax collection must be improved, but
gathering information about individuals without their consent breeches
article 24 of the Russian Constitution.

Although the clergy does not oppose the existing passport, pension and
conscription apparatus, they suspect that the proposed tax collection system
is harmful for the common people.” Russia's Holy Synod says that "many
Christians revere their names given them at baptism as holy and consider it
undignified to be given new numerical "names" by the government."

Instead, the Synod has proposed that a national electronic language be
formed to preserve tradition. Clergymen have concluded, said the newspaper,
“ that there is no great necessity to use these particular bars. Their
conclusion is that "the authors of the global bar code system, widely used
today in statistics, trade and many other spheres, have consciously or
unconsciously chosen a symbol which is insulting and disturbing to
Christians. At the very least, it looks like an outrageous mockery."

I would like for you to meet, my new friend Silvio Maia, the physicist who
studies the spirits in the Amazon. Here is his story as transcribed from a
live radio broadcast I produced on Jan 30th from Belem Brazil while on
expedition there:

We had just arrived in the Belem airport, this 17th day of our Brazil
expedition, when we saw Jose Luiz Martin Filho, waiting for us just outside
the arrival gate. There had never been any doubt at any of the airports so
far who our welcoming party was - always that instant soul to soul
connection! Remember the story of the Alfredo Mendes, the sexton (janitor),
who was abducted from the Catholic Churchyard? Jose, pronounced in
Portuguese as Joe-say, is the researcher who sent us that rainforest green
envelope covered with the beautiful Brazilian postage stamps and containing
his story of that craft landing there in the churchyard. And standing there
in our welcoming party was the pure soul of Alfredo Mendes, himself! Jose
led us to our quaint little hotel in the city and told us his group had a
meeting planned for us that evening. The gathering was created for the
purpose of getting acquainted and information sharing with the local UFO
phenomena researchers. Our time was very short in Belem - in fact much too
brief. Here we were right on the mouth of the Amazon and at the edge of the
exotic jungle and we only had less than two days - so it was rush, rush, to
conserve all time possible. This is one of the lessons of a primary
expedition - learning where to alot more time and where to plan less, and
which locations to just skip.

We "freshened up" before Jose arrived to lead the 7 of us, traveling in the
6th of our line of rented unairconditioned VW Kombis, to the house of his
friends. We were well aware of our "from slightly bedraggled to totally
disheveled" appearances. Somehow finding laundries along the way had not
been as easy as expected when doing pretrip planning.

Arriving just after dark at the beautiful penthouse overlooking the city,
with its private rooftop swimming pool, we were met at the top of the stairs
by a butler holding a tray of drinks. Gee, I thought in pure desperation.
Wish, I had saved one decently clean shirt to wear to something like this. I
never dreamed we would be in such an elegant situation here in the jungles
of northern Brazil. And, the charming Congresswoman of 20 years, Lucia
Viveiros, spoke to us in the Portuguese I wished I had spent more time
learning before leaving home. In answering the question I had prompted Jose
to ask her she was graciously saying, yes. We needed reliable phonelines to
conduct our live broadcast that evening on Sightings and this place looked
very reliable to me - but hanging out until 3 am was the real imposition I
was dreading!

Sitting on the rooftop deck, out by the unbelievably spacious rooftop pool,
were many people. There were university professors and scientists, a variety
of UFO Researchers, dignitaries from the Brazilian government, reporters and
photographers from the largest newspaper of the area, and one man who said
he was of Greek descent who had joined up with us, somehow in the lobby of
our hotel. I thought he was a friend of Jose and Jose thought he was
traveling with our group. But, after handing me some of his UFO research
from around his home in the Amazon jungle he soon left the party for a long
bus ride home. The newspaper ran a full second page the next day on the
events of this evening.

There was much exchange of conversation while I was busy with the
preliminary production of the radio show - choosing the appropriate guests
to be interviewed and faxing Jeff Rense with a preview of the guests and
their topics to be discussed.

Following a delightful buffet dinner which had been planned to accommodate
our vegetarian needs, the call came from Jeff in California, and the radio
show began. And, this is where I heard one of the most fascinating stories
of the entire expedition - from Silvio, an electrical engineer and a
physicist, who works for the Merchant Marines of Brazil.

Silvio says it all started when he was 19 to 20 studying engineering in
Brazil. Feeling all of his life that there was another presence traveling
along through life with him, Silvio became very fascinated with the Shamanic
practices in the nearby Amazonia Jungles. He decided to conduct a very
scientific detailed study especially focused on the entities speaking
through hundreds of people put into trances by the Shamans using various
herbs and natural drugs of the forest. By using computers and other
available technology he began his study of the villagers and the entities
seemingly inhabiting their bodies during these induced trances. Traveling
through the villages of the jungle he noticed that following ingestion of
the various shamanic drugs the other villagers began drumbeats which reached
and maintained certain frequencies. These frequencies were more interesting
to our researcher than the drugs. Did the drumbeats match or change the
frequencies of the brainwaves of the trance participants? Using an EEG
Silvio would measure the resonant brainwave frequencies of the participants
and tried to develop certain ohms matching these resonances. Taking kirlian
photographs he would monitor changes in the natural body auras and its
colors. Was there a difference in any of this phenomena caused by certain
ones of the drugs. He took notes and one day he asked the the spirit coming
through the host body, who claimed to be an old Indian, if he was another
energy belonging to another parallel universe. After awhile the spirit said,
Yes, I am from a parallel universe and not an old Indian at all. I belong to
another planet and I have been with you since you were born because my
frequency matches your frequency - our resonant frequencies are the same. I
present myself to the world with different names so you may call me the
Phoenix rising from the ashes, you may call me an Indian, you may call me
what you want, but I know what I am. One day you will know. Silvio asked,
"How do you come here?" The spirit answered, "Well, what are you talking to
now?" I am a projection from another plane. You live in a 3 D world which is
only a projection of some other universe. Silvio said he communicated only
through the person whose body the spirit entity was inhabiting at that time
but later on, while in meditation, he became able to received the messages
by channeling. The spirit said it was not necessary for Silvio to use any
medium for this communication other than his own brain / mind. Just get into
the right resonant frequency and talk to them. But it was only this
particular entity who had been with Silvio all of his life. And this entity
introduced him to many other entities vibrating at other frequencies. They
told him that there are many parallel universes intersecting many times
forming portals in many places dimensional portals that are constantly
changing in location throughout our 3 D world. These plane intersections are
always changing causing new portals to form and the old ones to move around
throughout our 3D space - a type of interlacing moving as the planes move.
It is possible to predict the movement of these planes and therefore predict
when portals will be open in our world to greatly enhance the communication
with these entities from other worlds. They told Silvio that when one of us
boards a craft during abduction / contact it is very common to meet people
who are deceased from our world but who are now in form on another plane.
And they told him that tonight they are going to prove this fact they have
just told him. When Silvio turned on his TV that evening there was a popular
rock singer talking on camera - an interview with her was taking place. And
she was wearing a ring . Someone asked her where she got the ring and she
said an extra terrestrial being had given it to her. Everyone laughed
because she was a popular rock star talking about ETs! Someone was
persistent with the questions about the object and she said, "well, since
you want to know, I went aboard a craft and there I met some people there
who had recently died on earth." This was a confirmation of what had been
told to Silvio earlier by the entity. What we call reincarnation is really
not at all like some people believe on earth. When we die our soul or
ethereal body travels to another dimension where its DNA is adjusted - not
the DNA of the old body but the DNA of the projection. What the soul first
perceives upon reaching this spiritual dimension is the city of Gods and
angels as described in world religions. What this stopover here is really
for is for the Gods and angels to make repairs in the DNA from the dimension
that gave the projection to the body. Many return to earth in new bodies as
more intelligent humans. There is no such thing as the Karma some people
believe in, at least not in the sense that you have to pay for your debts
and mistakes. Life on earth is like just some kind of an experience that
repairs and adjustments have to be made later for in the dimension to which
we all travel after physical death occurs on earth.

Silvio asked what the entity means of transportation was here on earth. The
entities replied that they use the water as means of enhancing
materialization because water has a great concentration of energy. Life came
from water. That is why water is used by world religions as the symbol of
life, healing, a spiritual medium. Water helps acceleration of all steps and
reactions in materializations. That is why there are so many craft sighted
going into and coming out of ponds, lakes, and oceans throughout our planet.
Really, there are not all the underwater bases some believe exist - They are
using the water only like lances, as a portal location - to travel between
parallel dimensions. For example it is very common in the Amazon region to
see disk shaped craft in the water. Even the Merchant Marines Silvio works
for have reported sightings of disk shaped craft. In these other dimensions
you can materialize matter - it is all an illusion anyway - If a deceased
person is really attached to his earthly body then that is what he
materializes as his form in the new dimension. If not, then you can take on
any illusion you want as your body to encompass your soul. If you are not so
attached to your earthly body then you become a part of the whole as just
energy without form until you materialize a new illusion of your choosing.
In closing Silvio says, "THERE IS NO DEATH........YEAH, MAN, THERE IS NO
DEATH."

What is the most profitable industry in America? Weapons, oil and
computer technology all offer high rates of return, but there is
probably no sector of the economy so abloom with money as the
privately-run prison industry.

Consider the growth of the Corrections Corporation of America, the
industry leader whose stock price has climbed from $8 a share in 1992
to about $30 today and whose revenue rose by 81 percent in 1995 alone.

Investors in Wackenhut Corrections Corp. have enjoyed an average
return
of 18 per cent during the past five years and the
company is rated by Forbes as one of the top 200 small businesses in
the
country. At Esmor, another big private prison contractor,
revenues have soared from $4.6 million in 1990 to more than $25
million
in 1995.

Ten years ago there were just five privately-run prisons in the
country,
housing a population of 2,000. Today nearly a score of private
firms run more than 100 prisons with about 62,000 beds. Thatâs still
less than five per cent of the total market but the industry is
expanding fast, with the number of private prison beds expected to
grow
to 360,000 during the next decade.

The exhilaration among leaders and observers of the private prison
sector was cheerfully summed up by the headline in USA Today:
"Everybody's doing the jailhouse stock." An equally upbeat mood imbued
a
conference on private prisons held last December at the
Four Seasons Resort in Dallas. The brochure of the conference,
organized
by the World Research Group, a New York-based
investment firm, called the corporate takeover of correctional
facilities the "newest trend in the area of privatizing previously
government-run programs... While arrests and convictions are steadily
on
the rise, profits are to be made, profits from crime. Get in
on the ground floor of this booming industry now!"

A hundred years ago private prisons were a familiar feature of
American
life, with disastrous consequences. Prisoners were farmed
out as slave labor. They were routinely beaten and abused, fed slop
and
kept in horribly overcrowded cells. Conditions were so
wretched that by the end of the nineteenth century private prisons
were
outlawed in most states.

During the past decade, private prisons have made a comeback. Already
28
states have passed legislation making it legal for private
contractors to run correctional facilities and many more states are
expected to follow suit.

The reasons for the rapid expansion include the post-1980s free-market
ideological fervor, large budget deficits for the federal and
state governments and the discovery and creation of vast new reserves
of
"raw materials", prisoners. The rate for most serious crimes
has been dropping or stagnant for the past 15 years, but during the
same
period severe repeat offender provisions and a racist
"get-tough" policy on drugs have helped push the US prison population
up
from 300,000 to about 1.5 million. This has produced a
corresponding boom in prison construction and costs, with the federal
government's annual expenditures in the area of $17 billion. In
California, passage of the infamous "three strikes" bill will result
in
the construction of an additional 20 prisons during the next few
years.

The private prison business is most entrenched at the state level but
is
expanding into the federal prison system as well. Last year
Attorney General Janet Reno announced that five of seven new federal
prisons being built will be run by the private sector. Almost all
of the prisons run by private firms are low or medium security, but
the
companies are trying to break into the high-security field. They
have also begun taking charge of management in INS detention centers,
boot camps for juvenile offenders and substance abuse
programs.

Roughly half of the industry is controlled by the Nashville-based
Corrections Corporation of America, which runs 46 penal
institutions in 11 states. It took ten years for the company to reach
10,000 beds; it is now growing by the same number every year.

CCA's chief competitor is Wackenhut, which was founded in 1954 by
George
Wackenhut, a former FBI official. Over the years its
board and staff have included such veterans of the US national
security
state as Frank Carlucci, Bobby Ray Inman and William
Casey, as well as Jorge Mas Canosa, leader of the fanatic Cuban
American
National Foundation. The company also
provides security services to private corporations. It has provided
strikebreakers at the Pittston mine strike in Kentucky, hired
unlicensed investigators to ferret out whistle blowers at Alyeska, the
company that controls the Alaskan oil pipeline, and beaten
anti-nuclear demonstrators at facilities it guards for the Department
of
Energy.

Wackenhut has a third of the private prison market with 24 contracts,
nine of which were signed during the past two years. In a major
coup, the company was chosen to run a 2,200 capacity prison in Hobbs,
New Mexico, which will become the largest private prison in
the US when it opens late this year.

Esmor, the No. 3 firm in the field, was founded only a few years ago
and
already operates ten corrections or detention facilities. The
company's board includes William Barrett, a director of Frederick's of
Hollywood, and CEO James Slattery, whose previous
experience was investing in and managing hotels.

US companies also have been expanding abroad. The big three have
facilities in Australia, England and Puerto Rico and are now
looking at opportunities in Europe, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and China.

The companies that dominate the private prison business claim that
they
offer the taxpayers a bargain because they operate far more
cheaply than do state firms. As one industry report put it. "CEOs of
privatized companies... are leaner and more motivated than their
public-sector counterparts."

But even if privatization does save money, and the evidence here is
contradictory , there is, in the words of Jenni Gainsborough of the
ACLU's National Prison Project, "a basic philosophical problem when
you
begin turning over administration of prisons to people who
have an interest in keeping people locked up."

To be profitable, private prison firms must ensure that prisons are
not
only built but also filled. Industry experts say a 90 to 95 per
cent capacity rate is needed to guarantee the hefty rates of return
needed to lure investors. Prudential Securities issued a wildly
bullish report on CCA a few years ago but cautioned, "It takes time to
bring inmate population levels up to where they cover costs.
Low occupancy is a drag on profits." Still, said the report, company
earnings would be strong if CCA succeeded in "ramp[ing] up
population levels in its new facilities at an acceptable rate."

A 1993 report from the State Department of Corrections in New Mexico
found that CCA prisons issued more disciplinary reports, with
harsher sanctions imposed, including the loss of time off for good
behavior,  than did those run by the state. A prisoner at a CCA
prison said, "State run facilities are overcrowded and there's no
incentive to keep inmates as long as possible... CCA on the other
hand reluctantly awards good time. They give it because they have to
but
they take it every opportunity they get... Parole packets are
constantly getting lost or misfiled. Many of us are stuck here beyond
our release dates."

Private prison companies have also begun to push, even if discreetly,
for the type of get-tough policies needed to ensure their
continued growth. All the major firms in the field have hired big-time
lobbyists. When it was seeking a contract to run a halfway house
in New York City, Esmor hired a onetime aide to state Rep. Edolphus
Towns to lobby on its behalf. The aide succeeded in winning
the contract and also the vote of his former boss, who had been an
opponent of the project. In 1995, Wackenhut Chairman Tim
Cole testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee to urge support
for
amendments to the Violent Crime Control Act,  which
subsequently passed, that authorized the expenditure of $10 billion to
construct and repair state prisons.

CCA has been especially adept at expansion via political payoffs. The
first prison the company managed was the Silverdale
Workhouse in Hamilton County, Tennessee. After Commissioner Bob Long
voted to accept CCA's bid for the project, the
company awarded Long's pest control firm a lucrative contract. When
Long
decided the time was right to quit public life, CCA hired
him to lobby on its behalf. CCA has been a major financial supporter
of
Lamar Alexander, the former Tennessee governor and failed
presidential candidate. In one of a number of sweetheart deals,
Lamar's
wife, Honey Alexander, made more than $130,000 on a
$5,000 investment in CCA. Tennessee Governor Ned McWherter is another
CCA stockholder and is quoted in the company's
1995 annual report as saying that "the federal government would be
well
served to privatize all of their corrections."

The prison industry has also made generous use of the junket as a
public
relations technique. Wackenhut recently flew a New
York-based reporter from Switzerland,  where the company is fishing
for
business,  to Florida for a tour of one of its prisons. The
reporter was driven around by limousine, had all her expenses covered
and was otherwise treated royally.

In another ominous development, the revolving door between the public
and private sector has led to the type of company boards that
are typical of those found in the military-industrial complex. CCA
co-founders were T. Don Hutto, an ex-corrections commissioner in
Virginia, and Tom Beasley, a former Chairman of the Tennessee
Republican
Party. A top company official is Michael Quinlan, once director of the
Federal Bureau of Prisons. The board of Wackenhut is graced by a
former Marine Corps commander, two retired Air Force generals and a
former under secretary to the Air Force, as well as by James Thompson,
ex-governor of Illinois, Stuart Gerson, a former assistant US attorney
general and Richard Staley, who previously worked with the INS.

Because they are private firms that answer to shareholders, prison
companies have been predictably vigorous in seeking ways to cut
costs. In 1985, a private firm tried to site a prison on a toxic waste
dump in Pennsylvania, which it had bought at the bargain rate of
$1. Fortunately, that plan was rejected.

Many states pay private contractors a per diem rate, as low as $31 a
prisoner in Texas. A federal investigation traced a 1994 riot at
an Esmor immigration detention center to the company's having skimped
on food, building repairs and guard salaries. At an Esmor-run halfway
house in Manhattan, inspectors turned up leaky plumbing, exposed
electrical wires, vermin and inadequate food.

To ratchet up profit margins, companies have cut corners on drug
rehabilitation, counseling and literacy programs. In 1995,
Wackenhut was investigated for diverting $700,000 intended for drug
treatment programs at a Texas prison. In Florida the US
Corrections Corporation was found to be in violation of a provision in
its state contract that requires prisoners to be placed in
meaningful work or educational assignments. The company had assigned
235 prisoners to be dorm orderlies when no more than 48
were needed and enrollment in education programs was well below what
the contract called for. Such incidents led a prisoner at a
CCA facility in Tennessee to conclude, "There is something inherently
sinister about making money from the incarceration of
prisoners, and in putting CCA's bottom line (money) before society's
bottom line (rehabilitation)."

The companies try to cut costs by offering less training and pay to
staff. Almost all workers at state prisons get union-scale pay but
salaries for private prison guards range from about $7 to $10 per
hour.
Of course the companies are anti-union. When workers
attempted to organize at Tennessee's South Central prison, CCA sent
officials down from Nashville to quash the effort.

Poor pay and work conditions have led to huge turnover rates at
private
prisons. A report by the Florida auditor's office found that
turnover at the Gadsden Correctional Facility for women, run by the US
Corrections Corporation, was 200 per cent, ten times the rate
at state prisons. Minutes from an administrative meeting at a CCA
prison
in Tennessee have the "chief" recorded as saying, "We all
know that we have lots of new staff and are constantly in the training
mode... Many employees [are] totally lost and had never worked
in corrections."

Private companies also try to nickel and dime prisoners in the effort
to
boost revenue. A prisoner at a Florida prison run by CCA has
sued the company for charging a $2.50 fee per phone call and 50 cents
per minute thereafter. The lawsuit also charges that it can
take a prisoner more than a month to see a doctor.

A number of prisoners complain about exorbitant prices. "Canteen
prices
are outrageous," wrote a prisoner at the Gadsden facility in
Florida. "[We] pay more for a pack of cigarettes than in the free
world." Neither do private firms provide prisoners with soap,
toothpaste, tooth brushes or writing paper. One female prisoner at a
CCA
prison in New Mexico said: "The state gives five free
postage paid envelopes per month to prisoners, nothing at CCA. State
provides new coats, jeans, shirts, underwear and replaces
them as needed. CCA rarely buys new clothing and inmates are often
issued tattered and stained clothing. Same goes for linens.
Also ration toilet paper and paper towels. If you run out, too bad, 3
rolls every two weeks."

General conditions at private prisons appear in some respects to be
somewhat better than those found at state institutions, a fact
possibly linked to the negative business impact that a prison
disturbance can cause private firms. For example, the share price of
stock in Esmor plunged from $20 to $7 after a 1994 revolt at the
company's detention center for immigrants in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Nevertheless a number of serious problems at prisons run by private
interests still exist. Back in the mid-1980s, a visiting group of
professional guards from England toured the CCA's 360-bed state prison
in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and reported that inmates were
"cruelly treated" and "problem" prisoners had been gagged with sticky
tape. The warden regaled his guests with graphic descriptions
of strip shows performed by female inmates for male guards.

Investigators at a CCA jail in New Mexico found that guards had
inflicted injuries on prisoners ranging from cuts and scrapes to
broken bones. Riots have erupted at various private facilities. In one
of the worst, guards at CCA's West Tennessee Detentional
Center fired pepper gas canisters into two dormitories to quell a riot
after prisoners shipped from North Carolina revolted over being
sent far from their families.

In addition to the companies that directly manage America's prisons,
many other firms are getting a piece of the private prison action.
American Express has invested millions of dollars in private prison
construction in Oklahoma and General Electric has helped
finance construction in Tennessee. Goldman Sachs & Co., Merrill Lynch,
Smith Barney, among other Wall Street firms, have
made huge sums by underwriting prison construction with the sale of
tax-exempt bonds, this now a thriving $2.3 billion industry.

Weapons manufacturers see both public and private prisons as a new
outlet for "defense" technology, such as electronic bracelets
and stun guns. Private transport companies have lucrative contracts to
move prisoners within and across state lines; health care
companies supply jails with doctors and nurses; food service firms
provide prisoners with meals.

High-tech firms are also moving into the field; the Que-Tel Corp.
hopes
for vigorous sales of its new system whereby prisoners are
bar coded and guards carry scanners to monitor their movements. Phone
companies such as AT&T chase after the enormously
lucrative prison business.

About three-quarters of new admissions to American jails and prisons
are
now African-American and Hispanic men. This trend,
combined with an increasingly privatized and profitable prison system
run largely by whites, makes for what Jerome Miller, a former
youth corrections officer in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, calls the
emerging Gulag State.

Miller predicts that the Gulag State will be in place within 15 years.
He expects three to five million people to be behind bars,
including an absolute majority of African-American men. It's
comparable,
he says, to the post-Civil War period, when authorities
came to view the prison system as a cheaper, more efficient substitute
for slavery. Of the state's current approach to crime and law
enforcement, Miller says, "The race card has changed the whole playing
field. Because the prison system doesn't affect a significant
percentage of young white men we'll increasingly see prisoners treated
as commodities. For now the situation is a bit more benign
than it was back in the nineteenth century but Iâm not sure it will
stay
that way for long."

Private prison companies have been predictably enthusiastic about the
booming market for convict labor. Between 1980 and 1994,
the value of goods produced by prisoners rose from $392 million to
$1.31
billion. Prisoners now make articles such as clothes, car
parts, computer components, shoes, golf balls, soap, furniture and
mattresses, in addition to staffing jailhouse telemar-keting data
entry and print shop operations. Some states have even begun assigning
prisoners to institutions after matching up their job skills
with a prison's labor needs.

Prisoners at state-run institutions generally receive the minimum
wage,
though in some states, such as Colorado, wages fall to as
low at $2 per hour (workers receive only about 20 per cent of that
amount, with the rest going to pay room and board, victims
compensation programs and other fees). As an added bonus, companies
that
employ prison labor have no need to offer benefits,
vacation days or sick time to employees and many states offer such
firms
tax breaks and other advantages as well.

Lured by such enticements, many big firms have moved eagerly into the
prison-industrial complex. Trans World Airlines pays
prison workers $5 per hour to book reservations by phone, less than a
third of the rate it previously paid to its own employees. The
EAU succeeded in shutting down a program at an Ohio prison where the
Waste corporation was paying prisoners $2.05 per hour to
assemble parts for Honda cars.

For businesses, the deal is even sweeter at private prisons where pay
rates can be as low as 17 cents per hour for a six hour
maximum day, which translates into a monthly pay check of about $20.
The
maximum pay scale at a CCA prison in Tennessee is
50 cents an hour for what are classified as "highly skilled
positions."
Given such rates it's not surprising that a prisoner there
complained about the relative generosity of publicly-run programs,
saying, "At federal prisons you can take home $1.25 per hour and
work eight hours a day, sometimes even double shifts. A two, three or
four hundred dollars a month check isnât unusual in the feds."

Thanks to prison labor, America is again attracting the sorts of jobs
that were formerly available only to workers of the Third World. A
US company operating in Mexico's maquiladora zone shut down its data
processing shop and moved it to the San Quentin State
Prison in California. A Texas factory booted 150 workers and set up
shop
at a privately-run prison in Lockhart, Texas, where
worker/inmates assemble circuit boards for companies including IBM and
Compaq. Oregon State Rep. Kevin Mannix has even
encouraged Nike to shift production from Indonesia to his home state,
saying the shoemaker should "take a look at transportation
and labor costs. We could offer competitive prison labor (here).

CCA's Political Connections

CCA's connection with local politics began when the Nashville-based
company was formed during Governor Lamar Alexander's
administration. When CCA made a bid to operate Tennessee's entire
prison
system in 1985, the governor's wife, Honey Alexander,
was criticized for owning $5,000 of CCA stock. She realized a
substantial profit ($100,000) when she converted the stock to a blind
trust in order to avoid an apparent conflict of interest.

CCA chairman emeritus Thomas Beasley, who co-founded the company in
1983, was previously a chairman of the Tennessee
Republican Party.

Among CCA's board members is Clayton McWhorter, an unsuccessful
Democratic candidate for Tennessee governor in 1994.

>From 1994-96, Doctor Crants, CCA's chief executive officer, and CCA's
chairman emeritus Thomas Beasley donated at least
$60,491 to Tennessee lawmakers, including $38,500 to Sundquist's
re-election campaign (this includes donations from Beasley's
wife, Wendy). In 1996 alone, Crants donated $22,450 to 46 state
political candidates, including $2,000 to Rep. Randy Rinks,
House Democratic Caucus chairman; and $1,350 to Senator Jim Kyle,
chairman of the Select Oversight Committee on Corrections.
CCA has seven registered political lobbyists in Tennessee.

In 1995, Governor Sundquist endorsed a controversial arrangement
whereby
CCA could contract with Hardeman County, TN, to
construct and operate a 1,540-bed "jail," funded with $47 million in
municipal bonds guaranteed by the state, to house state
prisoners. This arrangement circumvented a TN state statute that
allows
only one privately-managed state prison to operate in
Tennessee at a time.

State Senator Robert Rochelle, who received at least $1,000 in
campaign
contributions from CCA board members, sponsored a
bill to permit privatization of any newly-built state prisons. He has
sponsored other legislation on behalf of CCA.

Peaches Simkins, Governor Sundquist's former Chief of Staff,
reportedly
owned CCA stock while she was advising the governor on
prison privatization.

The Speaker of the House in Tennessee's General Assembly, Jimmy
Naifeh,
is married to CCA political lobbyist Betty Anderson.

In terms of connections on a U.S. Congressional level, CCA employs
several former high-ranking members of the Federal Bureau of
Prisons, as well as Dr. Tyree Tanner, the brother of U.S.
Representative
John S. Tanner.

 Cox News Service reported a step beyond that on December 27, 1999
 (http://www.stockhelp.net/star.html): a "high-tech tracking device not
 even George Orwell envisioned: a gizmo slightly smaller than a dime
 inserted under a person's skin. Palm Beach-based Applied Digital
 Solutions said that it has acquired the patent for the implant, which it
 calls the Digital Angel. People who use the transmitter -- powered by
 the carrier's muscle -- could be tracked by global positioning
 satellite, the same technology used in some luxury cars and boats."

 Unfortunately, that bit of mis(dis?)information about GPS, reproduced by
 newspapers nationwide and on numerous Web sites, tends to make
 technically knowledgeable people dismiss the whole idea. GPS satellites
 have no known tracking ability. The chip actually receives the GPS
 signal, then transmits the person's lat-long location to a receiving
 system (ground, air or satellite-based), as explained in the following:

 GPS implants will soon pinpoint people

 A tracking device designed to be inserted under the skin could allow
 parents to keep tabs on their children, help courts track offenders or
 make it easy to find lost hikers. But civil liberties campaigners are
 already worried that the device might be abused.
 A prototype, dubbed the Digital Angel, is being developed by Applied
 Digital Solutions of Florida, which has licensed the technology from
 another company. "Although we're in the early developmental phase, we
 expect to come forward with applications in many different areas, from
 medical monitoring to law enforcement," says Richard Sullivan, ADS's
 chief executive.
 The device contains a miniature global positioning system (GPS)
 receiver, which uses tiny differences in timing signals from satellites
 to calculate its position on Earth. The device can broadcast this
 information to a local receiver. It gets its power from a piezoelectric
 device that converts energy from a person's normal movements into
 electricity stored in a small battery.
 The device, which will be the size of a small coin, would be implanted
 just under the skin. Most of the time it would be inactive. But a
 mechanical switch--or a timed series of muscular contractions--could
 trigger it. Even a tune would do the trick. And instead of monitoring
 GPS signals, the Digital Angel could be designed to monitor a person's
 vital signs.
 It will also be possible to trigger the device remotely using a coded
 radio signal, Sullivan says. This would be useful in the case of a lost
 child or kidnap victim. And the authorities could activate the Digital
 Angel to track down a prisoner on the run.
 Sullivan says his company will have a prototype ready by the end of
 2000. But others are sceptical because the technology for a
 piezoelectric power supply is in its infancy. "You should never say
 'never' in today's technological age. But the power management

 could become widespread, allowing governments to monitor their citizens.
 And she speculates that criminals could crack the codes needed to
 activate and use the devices, allowing them to pinpoint, say, potential
 kidnap victims.

New wildfire burns in New Mexico

SANTA FE, N.M. (Reuters) - Three weeks after a wildfire ravaged Los Alamos,
another forest fire spread rapidly Tuesday in the northern New Mexico
mountains about 70 miles southeast of the premier U.S. nuclear weapons lab.
The Viveash fire in the thickly wooded Santa Fe National Forest, about 30
miles east of Santa Fe, began Monday and grew to 2,000 acres by Tuesday.

"It's probably going to get quite a bit larger by the time the day is over,"
said U.S. Forest Service fire information officer Tom Mott. "The real
problem here is the hazardous terrain, lots of fuel and dry windy weather."

The nearby villages of Gallinas and El Porvenir have been evacuated as well
as the area of Cow Creek and Pecos Canyon.

The fire moved in a northeasterly direction away from the town of Pecos six
miles from the blaze and toward a sparsely settled area dotted with a few
mountain cabins and vacation homes.

Planes sprayed waster on the fast-moving blaze. Several ground crews were
also on site, but officials said they might have to pullback the teams if
the blaze becomes too hot or unpredictable.

"When there is a situation where the fire is behaving extremely erratically,
fire crew safety is our number one priority, and we would keep crews from
the area," said fire information officer Cathie Schmidlin.

Officials suspected it was a man-made fire. An investigation was under way.

New Mexico has been plagued by extremely dry conditions, low humidity and
high wind gusts. Temperatures on Tuesday were above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Extreme fire conditions also fanned the flames of Los Alamos' Cerro Grande
fire, New Mexico's largest wildfire ever, which has consumed nearly 50,000
acres.

That fire destroyed more than 200 houses and apartment buildings in Los
Alamos, leaving more than 400 people homeless in the town of 11,000. It also
scorched buildings at the adjoining Los Alamos National Laboratory. No
radioactive material was released by the fire on the grounds of the lab
where the first atomic bomb was built in 1945.

By Tuesday, the Cerro Grande fire was 98 percent contained and was expected
to be 100 percent contained by nightfall.

The Cerro Grande fire was caused by National Park Service brush burning in
Bandelier National Monument that raged out of control.

projects, programs, and livelihood (meaning massive genocide), One World
Government - New World Order bosses will meet to decide the fate of 6
billion
people, in their self-assigned god-like fashion.

    Well they have already pre-decided our fate . . . 95% of us will be
disposed of over the next few years by numerous, any, and all means
possible,
including wars, assassinations, man-made diseases, genetically engineered
poisoned foods, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical killing agents (sarin nerve
gas, anthax bacteria spores, genetically engineered viruses like Ebola and
HIV-AIDS), abortions, sterilizations, executions, HAARP weather
machine-caused fires, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, storms,
Project Blue Beam microwave cooked-induced heart attacks, brain strokes,
arterial aneurisms) ad nauseam (to a sickening or excessive degree).

    The remaining 5% of the population will be a very small portion of
elites (possibly up to 10 million and the remaining 200 million to 500
million survivors will be totally mindless, "blind", bleating,
SHEEPLE-slaves, kept alive and selectively and genetically bred to serve
their masters.

     They will be maintained in total submission through drugs, MK-Ultra
Mind Control, brainwashing, propagandizing, and the fear-centers,
anger-centers, emotional upset centers of their brains, fighting centers of
their brains by destroying certain neurons in their limbic centers,
especially through the use of fluoride-type of drugs which specifically
kills
brain cells in these areas (like they are now doing with fluoride
toothpastes
on the entire population.

   This is sort of like performing chemical lobotomies on us all so we are
passive and unemotional, uncaring, unthinking, automatons.

    Unfortunately (for them), they feel that they are running behind
schedule, but they have already decided long ago that they will just push
their deadline dates back a little each time until they have eventually
accomplished their goals.

    However, they may still perpetrate their Islamic NBC terrorist (falsely
accused) attacks regardless, since the U.S. government's totalitarian
police-state SWAT attack against 6 year old Elian Gonzales went so well for
them . . . hardly any peep of objection came from the general SHEEPLE
population.  Overkill is their trademark.

    Two dozen hardened criminal-like paramilitary-style police SWAT team
guerrillas, in their most macho and manly fashion attacked and kidnapped an
innocent child and video taped it to show to the world to intimidate us into
submission.

    This potential NBC attack, according to an employee of one "good"
federal agency, the Federal Protective Services, will either be by, or at
least blamed on, Islamic Terrorists, if it happens at all.  The potential
attack may occur after the Gang of 300 adjourn and are tucked safely away in
their well protected and guarded homes or even in their pre-prepared
bunkers.

    If the NBC attack DOES in fact occur, whether by Islamic terrorists or
U.S. government federal terrorists, or their MK-Ultra Mind Controlled
assassination slaves, then we had all better prepare 100 times over for the
aftermath than we did for the much federal government hyper-touted uncertain
Y2K computer crash.

    And please remember this fact also, that three years ago I passed on
the
information about what would occur at the first meeting of the new
millennium
of the United Nations REFORMED charter assembly-election.

    The U.N. has created a new 950+ page REFORMED charter and at their
first
meeting (originally scheduled for the first quarter of this year - they also
are behind schedule) they, (the new name for this event is the Assembly of
the People) will vote it in and the very first item on their agenda will be
to announce to the world that since the entire world is so intricately and
intimately involved financially and economically (re:  GATT, NAFTA, European
Economic Union, Euro Dollar, World Trade Organization, International
Monetary
Fund, World Bank, etc, etc, etc,) that they will tell the leaders of all the
nations of the world that they can no longer consider themselves to be
separate . . .

    . . . that they must give up their sovereignty, give up all their
civilian, police, and military guns and weapons, disband all their military
operations, close all their military bases (Clinton is doing a fine job here
in the U.S.A. in that regards don't you think) and bow down to the United
Nations as the Supreme World Power which is the ONLY entity to have guns,
weapons, military bases and soldiers.

    So in addition to the Gang of 300 we have their personal standing army
and world-wide enforcers, the U.N. "Peace" FORCES!

   I truly don't know how any half-way intelligent (minimal I.Q. = 100),
God-loving, moral, patriotic and concerned citizen can't see the handwriting
on the wall.  It is too bad that even most Constitutional Patriots, as
concerned and aware that they are, are too scared and uncertain to fight off
any and all of what is happening to our nation and our world.  I guess the
resistance and fighting will be left up to the very few 1% or so
Constitutional Patriots who will give up their lives so the rest of the
so-called Patriots can have a chance to live in freedom?????

The Woodpecker Effect

You remember the indelible images spread by global media vectors during the
1999 WTO 'Battle In Seattle', don't you? Thirty anarchists from Eugene,
Oregon, rampaging through downtown Seattle, destroying 'The Gap' and
'Starbucks', and facing off tear-gas armed riot police. Anarchists who got
more press than all other anti-WTO activists combined. Anarchists who might
have been inadvertently moulded by a bizarre microwave experiment over
twenty years ago.

In March 1978, the town of Eugene, Oregon, and much of the Pacific
North-west was saturated in psycho-active 'Extra Low Frequency' (ELF) waves
which resulted in a wave of sudden gastro-intestinal illnesses, headaches,
fatigue, and anxiety attacks. Initially blamed on a battle between the U.S.
Navy and Soviet non-lethal warfare specialists, the microwave signal
(likened to a woodpecker) was finally traced by the Federal Communications
Commission to a Navy transmitter located in California, rumored to be part
of a naval communications system.

The famous incident was described in Nobel laureate Robert O. Becker and
Gary Selden's book 'The Body Electric: Electromagnetism And The Foundation
Of Life' (New York: William Morrow, 1985). Becker was an orthopaedic surgeon
who suggested that the 'quantum' shifts in human epigenetic evolution were
influenced by electromagnetic fields. According to Alex Constantine's
'Psychic Dictatorship In The USA' (Los Angeles: Feral House, 1995), Becker's
meticulously research resulted from 'Project PANDORA', a joint
Pentagon/Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) study designed to counter
the 1965 microwave frequency bombardment of the American embassy in Moscow.
Years before the WTO insurgency, Eugene, Oregon had already become a
geo-political flashpoint, albeit an accidental one.

Chaos theory proposes the famous 'Butterfly Effect', which highlights how
small incremental changes can effect widespread change across macro-systems.
Its fractal nature provides a mechanism that might explain how the two
coincidental events may actually be intimately related. However, there is no
empirical proof that the March 1978 dousing of Eugene, Oregon directly
created a future generation of egocentric machismo warrior-anarchists who
fought in Seattle remorselessly without guilt or shame (although EEG testing
of brainwaves would be one step towards verification). But there is growing
evidence generally that the 'power of the situation' and geographic location
factors may influence our belief structures, social values-systems and

identifies a spectrum of factors, including geo-magnetic fields,
electro-magnetic, and atmospheric variations, which shape our perceptions
and self-limits. Echoing Gallagher's findings, Becker and the 'Project
PANDORA' team found that prolonged microwave exposure can induce disturbed
brainwave patterns that affect deep-brain programs and instincts. A
subsequent test of Eugene, Oregon residents, found 6Mhz brainwave cycles
(irritability).

Covert warfare conducted on a bio-physiological level using obscure
behavioral laws could render individuals more susceptible to the 'power of
the situation' (such as urban protests turned ultra-violent). Prison and
college psychology case-studies of 'bio-psycho-social' systems conducted by
Lawrence Kohlberg, Stanley Milgram, David Rosenham, and Philip Zimbardo
offer suggestive evidence that individual moral choices are affected by
externally-imposed and artificially-created crises and flash-points, and may
also have bio-physiological factors and thresholds.

The 'Woodpecker Effect' may ultimately prove to be illusory, but the
coincidences surrounding Eugene, Oregon make an intriguing 'thought' experim
ent. Maybe John Milius' film 'Red Dawn' (1984) wasn't so paranoid after all.
But this time, the 'enemy' is from within.
