-------

This is for people on the usenet only.

Unfortunately, there are a lot serious assholes on the usenet
who spend their lives harassing anyone who posts anything their
little pinhead bigot minds don't approve of, while hiding behind
scores of different names. They are commonly called "trolls".

I will not allow these stupid punks to harass me, on the usenet
or via the mails. You can blame them for having to jump through a
couple of hoops to email me.

Your initial contact mail:

1. Send an email to usenet4444
(at)
gmail
[DOT]
com

2. Put "usenet" on the subject line, no quotes, followed
by a space, followed by the first three letters of my first
name. Nothing else. If you don't know my first name there's
no point in mailing that address. Your mail would never be
seen.

Doesn't matter what you write in the body, it will be deleted by
my mail filter. Blank is fine. Anything larger than 20K will
be automatically deleted on the server, though.

The headers of your mail must include your posting IP. Don't use
gmail from their web interface, for example.

(I am not asking you to give away any info that I am not willing
to give away. My replies will include _my_ posting IP.)

Whatever address appears in your From header will be the one that
is replied to and it must be in the same domain as your posting
IP.

That is, if your ISP is comcast.net, your email address better be
at comcast.net

The Reply-To: header will be ignored.

There's nothing special about the above requirements. For most
honest people that's how it will naturally be.

Send a mail to yourself and check out your headers to see if they
are normal, if you need to.

If your headers pass inspection, you'll receive a reply with my
real email address in it, from my real email address.

If there is doubt, I'll mail you from the gmail address with
questions.

(Note to the "trolls": I have only briefly outlined the checks
on the mail that will actually take place, so give it up and go
play with your teensie weensie dicks. I know, you think I'm using
gmail's web interface and will have to see your subject line and
so forth, but I'm not. I'm using their pop3 option and filtering
locally with procmail.)

Please don't mail me if all you are doing is responding to a post
of mine on the usenet. Post such replies on the usenet.
