House gutter: Fiberglass/epoxy covered V-trough

I want to build a the above, one piece, 40ft. in length, with single slope one end to the other and one downpipe. My question is: Are expansion/contraction so much as to make attachment to the house a problem ? Thanks.

I should have stated that it is a fiberglass/epoxy covered *plywood* V-trough.
