I have two win98 computers with onboard sound and both freeze windows the
instant I select my joy stick (Logitech Wingman Digital Extreme) in the
control panel applet.
The MB's are different, Asus and Epox. The graphics cards are different,
TNT2 and Gforce2.
What is it I don't understand about on board sound?
Or any thing else that is obvious :).........BobV

Have you been to the Logitech Wingman site for an updated installer
and drivers?

I had tried the auto update with no results, but I decided to try your link
to Logitech. I'll keep it short, I needed directX8 and MS Installer and
latest Logitech Wingman software.
Thanks for the help Shep, now my grandson can crash all your Spitfires :)

Have you updated the audio drivers? Also, update the bios to the latest
version.
