Cardinal has released news of its uptrade program. How this Program
works is, if you own a cardinal modem on its list(uptrade list),
All you have to do is bend over and they'll give it to you the hard
way. They expect a minimum of $104.00 over their original price of
$99.00 and my suggestion to you is this.... Go and buy your modem
but, don't even consider Cardinal. Look more towards Motorolla and
get their 56K for $119.00 and help me say hey cardinal ''FUCK YOU!!''.

I am not associated with Cardinal in any way, don't even have one
installed, but in their defese want to say that such a high of a price is
dictated by USR. If you remember, a while back when USR finally agreed to
license the X2 technology to other companies, fee (or royaltee, don't
remember) was high. Very high. High enough to make most modem
manufacturers to drop the whole idea of upgrading
