There may be some of you out there old enough to remember Lotus' great DOS
file manager, Magellan.

It still works fine under Win 98. so far as I can tell. with one problem.

Microsoft has seen fit to include a number of hidden directories and files in
the OS. I have not been able to find a way to view these in Magellan.

Any way to unhide them in Magellan?

In the alternative, any recommendations for a Windows file manager which will
permit me to sort an entire drive (not just a subdiectory or folder) by date,
time, extension, size or file name.

In the meantime, thanks to all those who recommended Powerdesk and
Singularity. They are a big step forward. They just don't go far enough.
