IE8-XP bug

Fairly often the IE8 toolbars black out and the accessibility
option setting for a larger font is lost. I have to reset the
display and the accessibility option. This problem seems to
be quite old, and I'm surprised that it hasn't been fixed.

I run XP Pro on various different machines, and they all
have this bug. Does anyone know of a solution?

Use a different browser, perhaps?

Never seen that on any of my XP machines. I suspect the problem
you have is with a bad browser plugin. Disable them all, then
enable them one by one until you find the culprit.
Browser plugins are a big problem these days and best avoided
unless you *really* need them.
