Hi!

If you are still looking for electronics wholesale, you should take a
look on the China-Site!

Many ebay power sellers are now importing direct from sites like:
http://www.chinavasion.com.

Hi!

This depneds on the order amount. If the amount is small you dont have
to pay any VAT.

If your order is a little bit bigger, you have to pay the VAT, which in
some countries is very small (1% or less) for many items.

Computer equipment is still Zero VAT rated so you only pay duty on goods
from China this is 4.5% with the certificate of Origin and Preference,
otherwise its 8% without paperwork(get it before importing)
They charge you VAT & Duty on the delivery cost.

Hi

I forgot to mention, I'm in the UK. VAT here is 17.5%

How do you go about paying for the import charges, before hand then

If you don't customs here seize the goods and you have to pay VAT plus
handling charges, to get the goods back.

Theres a limit of £18. Any total shipment costing more then this, coming in
to the UK, has to pay import VAT.

Thanks

Eddie

I was selling a load of geisha dolls in display cases to a shop in austrailia,
I sold them for 12.50, I think, after customs and vat and shipping, she had to
ask around 99.00 for the dolls. I never got another order from them again.
