Uh-huh. I just did a search on your "fantastic" search engine and got zero
responses when the same search on google.com revealed 11,600 sources.
Yeah, I'll bet you aren't in affiliation with your new scam site where 70%
of the profits go to "charity", i.e. you. KM

So was the crossposting which, by the way, you didn't remove.

It's kind of chickenshit that you altered your post so no response could be
made without jumping through some hoops. Are you afraid to hear the
responses to your remarks or is it beneath your dignity to admit you can't
always have the last word? KM

Er... sorry? I was merely suggesting that the cross-posting be trimmed.
Which is what I was trying to accomplish when I set the "Follow Up."

I'm sorry to have offended such delicate sensibilities.

Well, pointing the finger at someone for bad Netiquette by using bad

I read this in alt.what-the, written by alohacyberian:

I checked the post you're responding to, and found that I had no problem
composing a response to it. Maybe their's a problem with your newsreader.

(Later) Oh, I just saw the rest of this thread. You're not complaining
that you had any problem responding to RKM - you're complaining that he
"set followups" - which is the right of any poster.

The only hoops that you had to go through was to alter the newsgroup list
in your reply to continue to crosspost. Adding a group back into the list
shouldn't be any more difficult that it was to put it there in the original
post.

Naturally, you are as free to crosspost as any other user is to not
crosspost. And if you believe that a user should not be able to set
followups, then you should take that issue up with your software author
(you can reach them at www.microsoft.com), because they are the ones who
chose to recognise a followup header as legitimate.
