I wasn't going to say anything as it would normally be unseemly to
comment/critisize here...this is afterall a forum dedicated to weddings
and not photo technique. But, now that John has expressed my exact
thoughts I will sleep better at night. :)

Best,
Jerry

[snip an anti-rec]

Hmmm .... let's hope the spammers never catch on to this! Usually,
I just skip over the ads after I drop the sender a note, but after
someone says it's really bad, I *have* to take a peek.

[If the original photographer is still reading the group, s/he might
want to read more about converting the images to digital. Front Page
makes it easier to do special transparent effects, but it doesn't
work to advantage here.] I'm almost willing to bet s/he didn't
test it out on different machines to see what it would look like
to the end users.

But I was happy to find a wide range of packages listed for tiny
weddings (although I didn't necessarily see the point in
linking the number of prints specifically to the number of bridesmaids).
I thought 2 hours was a bit short though. We had a tiny wedding,
and our photographer was there for just under four hours. We ended
up paying an hour of overtime. In hindsight, our package should
have included more time and fewer prints.
