Make-up artist

I am looking for a make-up artist for my upcoming wedding on May 2, 1998. I
live in Chicago and need to find someone as soon as possible. Also, I do not
want to spend a arm and a leg for make-up. Can anyone help? If you have any

For our wedding, I asked one of the makeup artists at the hair salon I
frequent. She did it 'unofficially', on her own time, which meant that I
paid her for her services, but didn't have to pay the extra that the salon
might charge. She agreed to come to the wedding site and be there for the
pictures (we did pictures before the ceremony). It was like being on a
Hollywood set!! (I like drama). Anyway, you might try that. Also, check
with local colleges - perhaps you could get someone who is a recent graduate
of a program.
Just make sure you get a 'test-run' so there are no surprises on the day!!
