Looking for Wastewater Software for keeping track of NPDES permit data and
other plant parameters. Need it to have features such as printing out the
DMR itself, printing of reports in a desired format by the user, graphing,
import/export to & from a spread sheet program such as Excel.

Any suggestions?

I have compiled a listing of commercially available wastewater software
with descriptions and links to the publishers on my web site at
http://www.geocities.com/flusch/profsoft.htm
Click on Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations/Reporting.
I have no personal experience with any of the progams, however. Most of
the descriptions are based on quotations from the web sites.

I have been using a spreadsheet that was put together by a group effort of
myself and Prism Systems, Inc. of Mobile, Alabama. It was built using MS
Excel. This is a customized spreadsheet for Gulf Shores Utilities in
Alabama.

Includes:

* An overall Plant Performance Data Sheet
* 5 NPDES effluent criteria
* 5 DMRs with direct links from the NPDES to the DMR.
* A groundwater monitoring spreadsheet
* A toxicity DMR
* A Stormwater Pond Discharge Spreadsheet

Again, this is custom to this facility and works great. Their phone number
is (334) 341-1140. The cost was reasonable and they have a lifetime support
by telephone or email. (I have actually emailed sheets to them for
evaluation) I tried a few $99.00 software packages, they were okay, but
needed too much work to apply to the individual plants. Call them, it can't
hurt.

We have been using the Operator 10 (OP10) software for many years with
good results. We have just recently switched from the old DOS based
version to the new windows version. It is a canned database manager
type program that can run as a stand alone application or be networked
on a LAN or WAN. It was developed by Macola, but now sold and
supported by AllMax.
