Guys & gals, a little warning about Megaman:
Ok, this is kinda funny, so if you net nothing else outta this, at
least laugh (or attempt to)
So, I offered this guy Office 97 for a FTP server program. This is a
WAY off balance trade (Yes I said trade) that I agreed to do in the
name of free warez (I was going to give the FTP server to someone else
for free.) Anyway, upload time came along and the connection was
really slow! It kept timing out! I found out that this guy is a
newbie when he started blaming me for it taking so long. Come on, an
IP connect between a 56k & a 28.8 modem from FLa to CA. Its bound to
be slow to start. I calmly explained that the connection would speed
up. To hurry the 120MB upload, I opened another connection. If I was
using half the bandwidth, the other half might as well go to a second
file. He e-mailed again asking what in the hell I was doing with 2
ports open. "Uploading 2 files at a time, trying to make this take
LESS than 15 hours." Anyway, the connection timed out AGAIN and I
decided to give up on the FTP idea. I started posting via E-mail to
Megaman and 7 other people. Out of the 8 people I sent Office to,
only Megaman didn't get the attached files. 16.8 hours of uploading
that I didn't want to repeat, I called the deal off. (I'd like you to
know I got the FTP server from someone for no trade. "Free da
Warez!") Anyway, he continued on with his warez trading without any
further contact with me except for the occasional warez list. This

Trading by mail? That's kinda dangerous with all the FBI people out
here now. I don't think anyone should do any kind of trading with
him. If you need something, ask me & I'll see what I can do. Other
