Why did you not tell us the controversy?

This was entirely an American achievement. We were in a space race with
the Soviet Union. This wasn’t a “human” accomplishment, it was an
“American” accomplishment. The American flag should be included in the
movie.

My family won’t be seeing this movie, we have enough lies to debunk!!

MeTOO! No way I will take my kids to see a movie down playing the RACE
TO THE MOON! It was an
#American
achievement, & Neil Armstrong was PROUD of THAT! He saluted the flag
ON THE MOON!
This is Hollywood, yet again, attempting to rewrite history. Not
happening for MY FAMILY!

@GenChuckYeager
is responding to the way
@ClarenceSwirly
described his perception of the film, not the way HE saw the film.
General, will you let us know what you think of the film? Thank you and
thank you for your service Sir.

No, GEN Yeager is contrasting the man he knew,
#NeilArmstrong
, with the portrayal of him in the film.

How do you know that the General saw the film?

You are correct. Gen Chuck Yeager is contrasting the man he knew with
Clarence Swirly's presumptuous and inflammatory description of
Armstrong's portrayal... in a movie he has not seen. Good for clicks.

That was vague and obtuse. So shocked.
