I am looking for regional information re: a series of pastel/pencil
drawings of everyday scenes from point lookout prison. Prisoners
selling crabs to guards, etc. It seems originally this series was only
traced to a couple of owners when the research on the drawings was
originally done circa 1930. But a good fellow from DC whose name
escapes me has found them through the midwest, south and new england
states. His theory is that the artist used them for barter when serving
as a prisoner. Any help hea.......................?
