Mulatto social climber Meghan Markle makes formal complaint about Piers Morgan to British broadcasting regulators

Meghan Markle lodged a formal complaint with British
broadcasting regulators about former “Good Morning Britain” host
Piers Morgan after he claimed she exaggerated claims about
suicidal thoughts and racism in the royal family, according to a
report Friday.

“We can confirm receipt of a standards complaint made on behalf
of the Duchess of Sussex,” a spokesman for the government-
approved regulatory group Ofcom said, according to the Daily
Mail.

Her complaint is one of at least 41,000 received by Ofcom, which
is now expected to launch an investigation into Morgan’s
comments on the show Tuesday. They sparked a heated on-air clash
that led to him leaving the show.

Earlier this week, Markle reportedly complained to a honcho at
ITV, the network behind the show, about Morgan’s comments,
including that he “didn’t believe a word” she said about her
treatment by the British royal family.

Markle claimed she took issue with Morgan’s attitude towards
mental health in general and not his attack on her personally in
the wake of allegations she made about the royal family in an
interview with Oprah Winfrey on March 7.

Morgan left the show Tuesday after an on-air clash with a co-
star who criticized him for “trashing” the Duchess of Cambridge,
and claimed that his beef with her is personal — prompting
Morgan to storm off set.

Morgan later said he lost his job as host of the program because
he refused to apologize for his comments.
