1] Corn will no longer be grown on "Ears."
2] "Roastin' Ears" is declared to be a racist comment. Its use will be
considered a hate crime.
Speaking of racist comments; your examples of executive orders,
executive orders #1 and #2 would probably count as racists comments by
you.
As I understand, Rambler lives in Alabama. I live in the south too;
before Howard and I die the last face we see may be a black face, the
last hands offering comfort to us may be black hands. The last helful
voice we hear may be the voice of a black person. This is no mere
possibility, it is very likely.
Howard may be overlooking this.

And if you lived in NewYork?
Is the use of the word "ears" politically incorrect?
Why would you consider President McCain's executive orders as racist?
You too? Where is your sense of humor?
The last face we see might be a "white face."
The "last hand" may have a gun in it.
The "last voice" we hear might say, "Give it up!"
This is more than a possibility in NYC.
Hugh might overlook this.
> And if you lived in NewYork?
It might be the same there, but I don't know.

Didn't you see that I was ridiculing you?
Or, where is your sense of humor? LOL

Humbug.

Things are tough in NYC. Charlie Rangel has to live in a controlled
apartment(s) and pay the rent with undeclared income.
Things are rough in California, too. Nancy Pelosi is forced to use the
services of her husband. If I were him I'd charge more than $100,000.00.
(Under California community property laws, half of the $100K is
Nancy's.)
But Rambler's wife and kids may not look like yours, Hugh...
No, but the use of 'corn' is. Educated people know that before the Europeans invaded the 'New (to
Us) World', it was called maize.
Atlanta makes NYC look like Shangri-la. Look it up.

I must have missed something. How did Atlanta get into the picture?

Must have been something to do with "Gone With the Wind".
Educated Americans know that you can't find a can of maize on a grocery
store shelf.
Try Mexico or other Spanish speaking Latin American countries.
maize 1555, from Cuban Sp. maiz, from Arawakan (Haiti) mahiz.
maize \maize\ (m[=a]z), n. [Sp. maiz. fr. mahiz or mahis, is the
language of the Island of Haiti.] (Bot.)
A large species of American grass of the genus {Zea} ({Zea Mays}),
widely cultivated as a forage and food plant; Indian corn, commonly
called {corn}. Also, its seed, growing on cobs, and used as food for men
and animals.
[1913 Webster]
Additionally:
corn (1)
"grain," O.E. corn, from P.Gmc. *kurnam "small seed," from PIE base
*ger- "wear away" (O.Slav. zruno "grain," Skt. jr- "to wear down," L.
granum). The sense of the O.E. word was "grain with the seed still in"
rather than a particular plant. Locally understood to denote the leading
crop of a district. Restricted to corn on the cob in America (originally
Indian corn, but the adjective was dropped), usually wheat in England,
oats in Scotland and Ireland, while korn means "rye" in parts of
Germany.
Is GWTW an Biden or Obama reference?
Ole "Windy" Biden said that the Vice-President is only a tie breaker.
He has no other function.
I believe there is more wind in Alaska. You know, there they were
building the bridge to nowhere. They thought they were going to get a
lot more polar bear traffic.

More than Chicago, "The Windy City", renowned for its carnivorous
politicians, Richard Speck, and John Wayne Gacy?
