Why would Walmart give its customers the shaft by peddeling adulterated
meat? Sam Walton would never approve of this kind of cheat whould he?
Who wants to buy salt water and pay meat prices for "12 percent solution"?
Isn't that whats happening here? That "12 percent solution" is a big fat
profit maker, isn't it, Walmart? Well I am not buying it and I hope
thousands of people read this post and stop buying meat with "12 percent
solution" pumped in. Sell PURE UNADULTERATED BEEF only at low, low prices
we expect from non-union, union busting, Walmart.
Does the "12 percent solution" keep bad meat from turning brown? Brown
meat is a warning that the meat is going bad so Walmart is just trying to
fool the public in beleiving their meat is fresh from the cow because their
"12 percent solution" keeps stale meat looking blood red like real fresh
meat.
Another thing I think their ice cream is pumped full of air too.
Did you ever check your "Butterball" turkey ingredients......same
stuff.
It does extend shelf life but it is not a "big fat profit maker".
I don't buy the "solution added" meat because I don't care for all
the salt in the solution......still buy their ground beef, poultry,
seafood, etc. though.

It's the same thing you find in chicken, hams, steaks and such.
But, this leads to a better question, "Does Wal-Mart sell *outdated*
meat?
A study was shown that many supermarkets DO sell meat as "Fresh"
even though it's past the due date.
Winco never made the list and if you shop there, you know why.
I haven't bought Wal-Mart meat yet. But one thing that pisses me off
is the way some supermarkets sell ground beef. No one wants to buy
icky brown meat, so the supermarkets will grind it up as hamburger
then surround it with a millimeter-thin layer of bright red fresh
ground meat and put it on the shelf. The customer purchases what
he thinks is a pound or two of fresh hamburger, then gets home and
discovers horribly icky brown meat inside. I hate that so much!
One supermarket in my last city used to do it, but fortunately my
new city's local supermarket chain doesn't do it. Does Wal-Mart
do this?
I'm not sure but I have to say that Sam's Club fresh ground beef just tastes
a little off to me. I can't put my finger on it, but something is just
wrong. I buy at local grocery chains and even the cheapest stuff tastes just
fine. WM ground beef is weird.

Was the Chernobyl Farms label not a big enough clue?

Bring a book."
That would be in the meat dept. labeled hamburger.
