My concern is that my wife and kids are arriving to Dallas via
Houston, she is on an H4, with her elder parents (visit visa). A six
to seven hour wait would be quite taxing. Is Houston any less rougher
on the time delays? A couple of hours can be tolerable, but six to
seven is quite high by any normal standard. (Maybe these are not
normal times...)
Any experiences

At Dulles, I've never waited under 1 hour in line, but nor more than 2.5
hours.

These musla lovelies sure are sensitive about their airport check
these days, aren't they ?
Dulles is a mismanaged mess of a port.
The lines there are known to back up. Sometimes the citizen line even
goes slower than the non-citizen line.
As for the question about the
wife, kids, parents, and the six hour wait. Just because you were
selected for the extensive interview doesn't mean that they will too.
