I wanna start a small home business using drop shipping, where I try to
sell products online that I don't own while the wholesaler ship the
items I sell to the customers and they get the item price while I get
whatever I add on it.

Can I do that with an F1 Visa? If Yes, how can I do it legally? Do I
need to get a business name, how? Do I need to get a Tax ID, how? Do I
need to file a Tax Report each year?

I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

Thanks in advance.

I assume you are not yet in the US on an F-1 visa.

An F-1 visa is for students. If you want to start your own business in the
US what you need is an investor's (E-2) visa. However, you will have to show
sizable funds (+$100,000) in order to obtain one.

I've actually been in the US for 4 years now on an F1 Visa studying
at a University. I have one more year to go (actually about 10
months) and then I'll go back home. What I would like to do is start
this home business to make some money out of it and then continue
with it when I go back.

Is that still possible since I've been here for 4 years now?

Zalawi, your participation in this business is almost certainly illegal.

If you hold F-1 optional practical training, and it is plausible that your
operating this business is working in the field of your degree, then you
have a plausible case that your running the business is legal.

For this type of business, you would need a state tax identification number,
and perhaps a business license for your city. And yes, you would have to
report the income and expenses of the business in your federal and state
income tax returns.
