getting a GC ( based on emplyment) without actually being on a h1
first.
can a person be sponsered for a GC starightaway without being on h1 or
work visa.... by the prospective employer.
Is that Possible.....? if yes how..?
I kinda find it hard to believe...

There is no relationship between H1-B and Green Card. It's possible to
get one now in the same way as it was before the H1-B was invented.

The usual way. Fill in the forms, send in them and the money, wait.

Immigration Consultant
can file any INS form you need. I think the person who informed you may be
confused about the law.
