Can I transfer my H1b visa immediately after it is active in Oct. 2007.?

Hi,
I am currently on my OPT (expires: 10/08/07) and have a pending H1B
visa application for FY 2008 through my current employer. I have found
another better position and wish to join the 2nd company, since it is
more relevant to my field and industry. Since even the advanced cap is
nearly filled, the 2nd company has suggested a visa transfer and a
possible start date of Oct. 1 2007. Is it possible for me to get the
H1B transferred as soon as it is active in Oct. 2007, or do I have to
show any paystubs. Secondly, would it be allright if I showed paystubs
from August '07 to Oct. '07, ie before the H1B is active. I would be
glad to provide further details of the situation.

I need to get some info on this ASAP since I am scheduled to talk with

Well as part of the transfer process you need to submit a couple of pay
stubs from your current employer, so you will need to work for them for
at a month or two
